How to use

Check the subway route

If you want to check the route from station A to station B, you can see the route and time of the ride if you select the starting station and the end station directly from the subway map, and there is also an estimated vehicle cost (basic standard of transportation card) at the bottom of the screen.

If you want to find more detailed information, such as when to take the bus, where to change the bus, what time is the approximate time, and click on the "detailed route" above the route to see the information about the subway line, and the time is very clear, both the time and the arrival time.

If you want to see today's last train, click on "Last Train" on the screen to see the information about the last train.

If you want to identify the stations that the subway passes through, click on the list in the screen to see the arrival time of each station, so that you can better grasp your Korean itinerary.

Tips for identifying subway routes

The fastest route, the least transferable route

The subway in Korea, especially Seoul, is complicated, and if you want to go to the place you want to go to, if you have to transfer repeatedly, you will feel troublesome just thinking about it, right? If you're not in a hurry, you can also select the "fastest" route on the subway app to see the most time-saving route.

If you find that there are too many transfers after looking at the fastest route, and you are afraid of trouble, you can also choose "Least Transfer", and you will see the subway route with the least transfer, of course, the time may be longer, but you can save the cumbersome transfer, you can evaluate and make good use of it.

Which carriage is the most time-efficient?

If you want to transfer, you can remember a small step, when you check the route information, there will be a so-called "transfer small step", for example, it says "Exit right (Gate 4 of bus 10)", what does this mean?

For example, if you take Line 2 from Eulji Road 4-ga Station to Gangnam, you need to take Line 2 from Eulji Road 4-ga Station to Eulji Road 3-ga Station, transfer to Line 3 to Xinsha Station and then transfer; The fastest way to get from Line 2 to Line 3 is at Gate 4 of Car 10 of the train (the closest to Line 3 after getting off at the right door).

How do you read the car number? On the platform of the waiting car, there will be such a number, 3-3 is the No. 3 door of the No. 3 car, and the No. 4 door of the No. 10 car just mentioned, look for the number 10-4.

Check the information about the subway station

Exit of the subway station

If you click on the "Exit Information" of the station, you will be able to see the exit of the station, but there is not much information, so if you want to check the detailed location of the exit and whether there is an escalator or elevator, it is recommended to download the Naver Map.

Check the timetable of the station

Click on the timetable to see a series of train schedules from morning to night, with parentheses indicating where the last train on the route from that station is.

For example, "7am15 (Dongdocheon)" appears in the timetable for Dongdaemun Station and Dongmyo Station, which means that at 07:15, the terminal of the train from Dongdaemun to Dongmio will only reach Dongdocheon. You can refer to the last train information just mentioned.

The station's facilities

Click on "Station Information" to check the facilities at that station, but it's not very detailed.
