SuperNDS Emulator - Retro DS game player

Really let down! The default button layout is just okay, but you can customize it, so not a huge issue. I got a Pokemon Platinum ROM and it was running smoothly! It didn't have a speed-up feature which was a bummer, but not terrible. As I exited the first town, the game screen started flashing white. Only the DS screen part, not the whole thing. I attempted to save and restart the app, but none of my progress was saved. I won't be giving this another shot.

This emu is great, it's the only one that worked for me except for DraStick. It would be even better with a speed up option. There are some glitches that need fixing, but it's not a big deal. The occasional crashes are annoying, but those are the main downsides. Overall, it has lots of potential, I just hope these problems can be fixed.

Playing old Pokemon games on this emulator is frustrating because it crashes frequently, making me constantly save my progress to avoid losing it. The experience of reliving childhood games is almost ruined by these crashes! Moreover, the long ads make restarting crashed games even slower. It's hard to enjoy the app when it can't run properly most of the time. However, when it does work, the emulator itself is nice and simple to use with a good button layout.

Can't believe this is the top choice. It crashes a lot, games run super slow and sound bugs out. Tried Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow and HeartGold, couldn't play them. It's really bad; try another emulator. Don't download this, it's garbage. And there are too many ads.

I wanted to see how much it costs to remove ads, so I downloaded the app. Unfortunately, I had to watch a NSFW ad that I couldn't skip before even finding the settings. I looked for an option to upgrade to no ads but couldn't find one. The "Help" button mentioned a pro version but didn't provide a link to upgrade. After this initial experience, I decided not to continue using the app.

Saving your game frequently using save states is crucial for smooth operation. The system can be unpredictable, working fine for a while and then crashing suddenly. The frequency of crashes seems to vary, perhaps based on the specific game being played. Unfortunately, I encountered issues with one ROM crashing every 5 minutes. Occasionally, the software may trigger antipiracy measures, rendering the game unplayable. Overall, the system runs well with minimal ads, especially if you stick to one game without switching too often.

I spent a while fixing the issues with loading the games, but now that I've checked it again, it seems like the performance has gotten worse. What's up with that?

The rating could have been 5 stars, but there are some issues. Sometimes it freezes up so badly that you can't play the game at all. It also kicks you out of the app and restarts it when you click back in, causing you to lose data if you haven't saved often, which is frustrating. If they can fix these problems, it would be a 5-star app since they already offer a wide variety of games, which is great.

In landscape mode, the ads are stuck in portrait so I can't reach the X button to close them. Once the ad starts, I can't switch orientation. The phone is horizontal but the ad displays vertically, cutting off the top and bottom. It's all glitchy with black bars on the sides. I'm trapped on the ad screen with no way out except restarting the app. Can't play like this. I have a OnePlus 7 Pro.
