The purpose of logging into your SuperSport app ensures that your app is able to learn and save information about what you like and suggest sports content based on your favourites, thus offering you personalisation. 

Additionally, without logging-in, your app will not know what are your favourite teams and thefore will not be able to send you notifications. Hence, logging-in also enables notifications to be sent so that you Never Miss a Moment.

While the original app was packed with information, the new version is sleeker, more dynamic and tailored for fans who demand a richer, more visual experience.

Three fresh elements define the latest app:

Personalisation: Once logged in (via email, Facebook, Google, Twitter or Apple), users will be able to select their favourite teams and tournaments, for content they care most about.

Speed: There are huge improvements on the speed of data, meaning users get scores and notifications in real time for the teams they want.

Topic pages: Curated sections for users’ favourite teams and tournaments, featuring news, videos and scores. 

All content will still be easily accessible through the improved search functionality, but the news, video and scores section will be tailored for users’ favourites. Users will also be able to set notifications for their favourite teams. 

Content discovery will be another big plus with the app driving users to the content they most want.

What Internet connection do I need in order to use the SuperSport App?

You can use the SuperSport App on any broadband internet connection, including ADSL, 3G/HSDPA, 4G/LTE, Fibre or Wi-Fi. To watch sports highlights or streaming, you require a minimum connection speed of 2Mbps but, for the best experience, we recommend a 4Mbps line or faster. 

It is also highly recommended that you use the SuperSport App in conjunction with an uncapped Internet account to avoid high data charges when watching sports highlights or streaming sports channels.
