Tips on how to beat all of the Swordigo bosses

Chamber of the Mageblade boss

Part 1: Kill the golem by either shooting fireballs or attacking him with your sword.

Part 2: The easiest way to beat the boss is by deflecting his fireballs with your sword (by hitting them).

Overseer’s Lair boss

The fastest and easiest way to beat the boss is by deflecting his fireballs with your sword (by hitting them).

Hall of the Dwarven Kings boss

You need to have the dimension rift spell. Right when you get into the boss fight, turn on dimension rift and destroy the two towers shooting beams at the boss to make a shield. The boss is invulnerable until you destroy his shield by hitting the two towers (which you can only see with dimension rift on). While his shield is down, turn off dimension rift and just hack and slash him. Make sure to turn on dimension rift again and kill the towers if his shield comes back.

Chambers of the Flame boss

Use your dragon’s grasp spell to hook him closer and then hit him. You can deflect his fireballs with your sword but he won’t take damage from them. During phase 2, do the same thing. If you stand on the moving platforms, you’ll avoid the big lava boulders.

Lair of Death boss

Make sure to have a potion with you before you enter the boss fight.

Part 1: Deflect the boss’s fireballs back at him. When he comes down in his swirling sword attack, dodge it and then attack him as he comes back up. You can use dragon’s grasp occasionally to hit him and do damage.

Part 2: The only attack that he can’t deflect back at you (though he might block) is dragon’s grasp. Use it when you can to do damage. Try to get a feel for his attacking patterns and attack when he isn’t. This is the only boss that you won’t get hurt from by touching. If you run low on health, use your potion. If you used it already or forgot to bring one, run back and forth by jumping over him and avoiding him until you regenerate some health to fight again (this is assuming you put your shadow trinket into your armor).

Important tips for Swordigo

Make sure you pick up everything people give you after cut scenes.

Double tap the move button to run. Don't forget!

If you get used to the movement and can dodge enemies, upgrade your attack first, otherwise get some health until you feel comfortable.

Kill everything around you before you pick up treasure chest items. Sometimes there's a mini cut scene that you can't skip and you'll still get attacked by enemies.

Remember to use the healer huts.

Make sure to touch the teleporters if you see them even if you aren't going to use it right away.

You can deflect most enemies projectiles (like turtle cannons and some bosses attacks).

Buy the weapon and fire trinket from the shop.

You will receive three trinkets throughout the game. I use fire damage for the weapon (to do more damage), shadow trinket for my armor (to regenerate health), and ice trinket for my spells (to freeze enemies from afar)

Make sure you find the weapon in one of the secret chests.

Buy the magic armor as early as you can.
