Randomly turned my screen black even after turned off night mode

If Night Mode results in a black screen, execute the following ADB command:

- adb shell settings delete secure ui_night_mode

UNLESS YOU ARE USING ANDROID 11 OR ABOVE, A COMPUTER IS REQUIRED TO USE ADB!

SystemUI Tuner is not a magical tool! It simply reveals certain hidden options within Android. Different manufacturers may eliminate or alter these options, which SystemUI Tuner CANNOT bypass.

Customize your Android device however you want

SystemUI Tuner is an app that lets you customize aspects of your Android device that the default configuration options normally don't allow you to customize. And best of all, the app doesn't require root privileges in order to work.

With this handy app, you can choose what icons you want to appear on your status bar, set the importance of notifications, customize the speed of some animations and transitions, and even hide the status or browsing bar directly. It is important to note, however, that SystemUI Tuner does not work with all devices on the market. For example, some of the features don't work correctly on MIUI or Samsung devices.

SystemUI Tuner is an excellent customization app, that lets you give your device a unique and personalized look. You can even enable some 'hidden' Android features that are disabled by default.

Convenient copy-paste ADB Commands (ADB access without rooting):

- adb shell pm grant com.zacharee1.systemuituner android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

- adb shell pm grant com.zacharee1.systemuituner android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS

- adb shell pm grant com.zacharee1.systemuituner android.permission.DUMP

Numerous manufacturers have issues with users customizing their own devices, to an extent where some disable the native Android System UI Tuner.

This application aims to address that by offering an alternative solution. Primarily, it replicates Android's System UI Tuner with a few added features beyond the default Android one.

With this app, you can:

- Manage which icons are displayed in your status bar (not all toggles work universally).

- Customize Demo Mode.

- Adjust the notification importance level (7.0+; functionality might vary on Samsung devices).

- Activate certain hidden Android features.

- Toggle Immersive Mode.

- Modify Quick Settings options (TouchWiz 7.0 users can adjust grid size).

- Customize animation speeds.

- And more.

Most features should be compatible with most devices. However, heavily customized OEM versions like TouchWiz/Samsung Experience/One UI, EMUI, MIUI, etc., may have limited compatibility. Unfortunately, there is no solution for this limitation.

THIS APP MAY NOT WORK AS INTENDED ON ALL DEVICES! This notably includes most versions of MIUI, while Samsung's TouchWiz Marshmallow (6) is completely incompatible!

Additional points to note:

- No ROOT access is needed for this app, but ADB permissions need to be granted (instructions provided in the app). ADB DOES NOT EQUAL ROOT ACCESS!

- In case your device is rooted, the app will seek root permissions. Access denial is possible; however, you must utilize ADB to grant permissions.

- This app should function on any device operating on Android Marshmallow (6.0) or higher, barring most devices on MIUI and devices running TouchWiz 6.0.

- This app is not a cure-all. SystemUI Tuner simply exposes hidden Android settings. If an option is missing or not functioning on your device, there is no fix available.

- Immersive Mode may behave unpredictably! Perfect performance cannot be guaranteed, and I have limited control over its functionality. It's an inherent Android feature, controlled by Google or your OEM.

- Changes made are irreversible! Removing SystemUI Tuner WILL NOT reverse the alterations made. On Android Oreo (8.0) and later, there is a setting to reset most configurations, but it's YOUR responsibility to track changes.

    So, I recently switched from my Note 9 to a Mate 20 Pro, and let me tell you, that notch really squeezed my status bar! But hey, with this Mate 20 Pro, I could remove that pesky HFC icon and some other icons I didn't care for. Sadly, couldn't get rid of the VoLTE icon, but at least I cleared up space so my notifications can now breathe freely. And hey, those Immersive options are just spot on! Gotta say, I'm really digging this app!

    The app description mentioned that ADB is not necessary unless you are on Android 11 or above. I am using an Android 13 tablet, but the app still showed me an error message regarding shizuku/adb detection. I visited the Github issues section to report this problem, however, I did not receive any assistance from others. While I understand that the app works for some users and the developer dedicated substantial effort to it, it is important to support those who encounter difficulties while using the app. I apologize for giving a negative rating.

    This app used to be awesome when phones had limited settings. It'd be cool if we could personalize the clock feature now that we have Shizuku. I can't really use it until then, but I appreciate the developer for updating it to work with Shizuku!

    I have a suggestion for the full immersive mode blacklist feature. In this mode, it would be great if users could specify which app activities to exclude. When typing in full immersive mode, I often encounter issues where part of the text box gets covered, making it difficult to work. If we could exclude specific app activities, it might help solve this problem. It's something to consider as a potential solution to improve the user experience.

    I come from a group that tweaks apps before they open, but this time I was surprised. You are so generous! The app functions just as promised. I appreciate the heads up in the "Dark Mode" section. It made my Android 10 with custom ROM, fully customizable and rooted, go black.
