The Government of Telangana has been a forerunner in e-governance in the country. Through MeeSeva Centers and an online portal, citizens are empowered to receive public services in a hassle-free manner. In line with its vision of simplifying access to government services, the Government of Telangana is launching T App Folio - the official digital app of Telangana State.

T App serves as an Anytime, Anywhere mobile service delivery gateway for all government departments.

What makes T App unique:

Services offered in the initial phase:

UX Issues:

- The limited language options restrict user preferences.

    (User Control and Freedom)

- The login screen uses input field designs that are not used anymore, this may create potentially confusing user experience. Overall design is currently too overloaded in a small card.

    (Aesthetics and Minimalism)

- The absence of real-time progress indicators or feedback during login may leave users uncertain about the accuracy of their input. After filling in the mobile and MPIN and clicking on the login CTA, users discover if one of the fields is incorrect, highlighting the need for immediate feedback.

    (Visibility of System Status)

- iOS and Android, both devices feature distinct login screens, with Android offering Indian and non-Indian options. Conversely, iOS devices lack this choice, indicating a discrepancy in user experience between the two platforms.

    (User Control and Freedom)

Recommendations:

Unified Login Experience with Country-specific Options: To ensure consistency and inclusivity, the login screen on both iOS and Android platforms will be standardized. The options "Indian" and "Non-Indian" will be offered on both platforms to accommodate users' preferences. Additionally, a flexible login flow will be implemented, adapting based on the user's location when applicable, to enhance usability and accessibility.

    My Samsung phone camera is not working properly, but it works fine on Oneplus devices. I am unable to submit my LL application because it keeps showing "Internal AWS server error." I have contacted them multiple times through calls and emails, but the issue has not been resolved yet.

    So, I wanted to update my address on my driver's license. Everything seemed fine - I paid and got a message that said the transaction went through. But then, it suddenly said it didn't work. This happened twice! Now, I just have to wait to get my money back. There's no update on when that will happen. It's frustrating not having any information. I'm losing faith in this app.

    Two months ago, I submitted my application for a vehicle transfer online. However, I have not yet received the approval. The app is now requesting me to upload a copy of my vehicle insurance, but I am unable to add the document. I wonder why this document was not required when I first applied. Every time I try to contact customer care, no one responds. They always say the same thing in emails - that they have forwarded the issue to the technical team who are supposedly looking into it. I initially thought using the online process would be more convenient than going to the physical RTO office, but now I am starting to believe that visiting the office might be a better option than dealing with these online challenges.

    Sometimes I can't log in and if I manage to, it tells me that the Internal AWS server is down for driving license updates.

    I can't update my expired learning license. When I try, it says "Internal AWS Server is down, please try after some time." This error has been appearing for months now. No one is addressing or fixing this problem.

    I'm applying for 'LL for Addition of class of vehicle'. Once I enter my credentials and press 'Proceed', a pop-up message appears saying "something went wrong, please contact administrator". I've tried several times but keep getting the same result. I have attached a screenshot. My credentials are correct. It seems there is an issue that needs to be addressed. Kindly investigate and fix it.
