Tasker by Taskrabbit - Tasks & errands organized

TaskRabbit is a platform I've been using since 2016. This company has truly changed my life with their great business model. However, their app has always been a headache for me. It's so glitchy and slow, and the updates often mess things up even more. I can say without a doubt that it's the buggiest software I've ever had to deal with regularly. Back in the 2010s, I held onto hope that as TaskRabbit grew and got more resources, they would improve their app. Sadly, that hasn't happened. I wonder, why is it still so bad?

I appreciate your swift response to fixing issues on the app. I have a suggestion: I'm currently injured due to a nerve problem and cannot lift heavy objects. However, I can still do tasks like delivery and errands. I don't want to turn away people who need help carrying things. It would be great if we could temporarily pause certain skills in situations like mine. Others may also only want to do yard work for part of the year without losing their progress.

I downloaded this app on my Android phone and iPad. When I tried to login, I kept getting a server error (429), and couldn't proceed further. I reached out to Customer Service three times for help. Their only suggestions were to reinstall the app (which didn't help) or get a new device. I even attempted resetting my password and creating a new account, but it seems like the problem lies with their server, not with me. Sadly, I cannot use the app at all. This experience has been really disappointing for me.

I had a bad experience with the app. I was looking forward to using it for some extra money, so I paid $25 to sign up and get tasks. It connected me with tasks quickly, but it didn't manage my time well. I was given 2 tasks back-to-back, and I assumed the app scheduled everything properly. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to finish the first task and missed the second one. As a result, I deleted the app.

Every time there's a new update, more and more terrible bugs appear that are getting harder to overlook. I can't add any new photos for my work profile on Tasker anymore. Errors keep popping up randomly when I use the app. At times, I need to restart the app to view customer chats. Other times, I have to restart it again because I'm unsure if my messages were sent properly. This app used to be perfect years ago, but now it's filled with low-quality code.

So there's this app that keeps bothering you to sign up because there are tasks nearby. But when you finally give in and try, it says it's not available in your area. Then if you pick the nearest big city, it just dismisses you by saying they have enough people already. So now your account is stuck halfway registered and you keep getting a password error that you can't fix without help, which means you can't do anything at all with the app. Eight months later, and the problem is still there. This app is just trash.

I had a really bad time trying to talk to clients on my Google Pixel 7 Pro using an Android platform. I always have to shut down the app and open it again several times just to chat with people for more than two sentences. This issue doesn't happen when I use an Apple device. I find Over unless platform to be useful, but I can't stress enough how annoying it is to communicate with others on this.
