TAXImet - Taximeter is a GPS based Taximeter app. This is affordable easy to use app for taxi drivers. TAXImet - Taximeter can be used in any taxi for distance and time metering and billing. Drivers can customize the charging plan according to the Taxi category. TAXImet app is developed and published by Innovemind Pvt Ltd. Taxi Users can download TAXImet - Taxi Caller app to search nearby taxis. They can view driver details and their locations. It is free to contact a driver by phone or SMS.

How to Use

Download TAXImet app from the play store. Place your phone on the vehicle dash board or mount to the wind screen. Phone should receive GPS signal to operate. Open the App, it will ask permission to enable GPS (Location). Press OK. START button will be activated when you are receiving GPS signal. Press START to start the journey. Press END to finish when you reached the destination. You can see the Fare, Distance and Waiting time on the screen.

Start using the App:

1.Place your mobile phone on the Taxi dashboard.

2.Open the app, it will ask to enable GPS location.

3.Press OK to proceed.

4.The Taximeter Start button will be activated when a good GPS signal is received.

5.Press Start button to start the Taximeter.

6.Press End button to stop the Taximeter.

7.You can Pause or Resume the Taximeter when necessary.

8.You can see the total fare, distance, time, and taximeter status on the display.

9.There are four buttons at the bottom of the screen：Print button, History button, Tariff change button, and Settings button。

10.In Settings, you can adjust the currency, color theme, print settings, and charging rates according to your area.

How to print a bill?

1.Turn on your portable Bluetooth thermal printer. (Supported model: 58mm mini wireless Bluetooth thermal receipt printer supporting ESC/POS for Android mobile printer).

2.Turn on the phone's Bluetooth. Pair the Bluetooth printer with the phone on the first run.

3.Press the print button on the taximeter app.

4.Press Connect Printer button.

5.Select your printer name or MAC address from the list of Bluetooth devices.

6.If successful, press Print button to start printing.

7.Review the invoice at Preview before printing.

How to view History (previous rides)?

1.Press the History List button on the taximeter app.

2.The list of past rides will appear. The latest ride will be shown at the top.

3.Click on a ride to view the PDF bill.

4.Long click on a ride to delete it.

5.Print the selected trip with the print button.

6.Filter rides by the required time range.

7.Check the Summary box to calculate totals for the selected period.

How to connect with the customer app?

1.Visit Account Settings in the Settings menu.

2.Register with your taxi and contact details.

3.Enable "Show taxi location" on the registration page.

4.Instruct your customers to install the "TAXImet - Call Taxi" App to find your location, status, and call your phone number directly.

To remove Ads:

Enable the internet, then visit Purchases. Select Ads Removal and complete the payment to remove ads.

To enable tracking:

Enable the internet and visit Purchases. Select Tracking to subscribe for frequent updates on the customer app. The app will run in the background during calls or while using other apps.

For the best results, it is recommended to keep the phone on the dashboard and the app open. Please contact the developer for support or feature requests.

Attention: This app operates similarly to a taximeter. Please verify whether it complies with your country's taxi regulations.

Important Notice: For Android 10 and above devices, Taximeter App may be closed by the OS if running in the background. To prevent this, disable Battery Optimization for the App.

Phone Settings -> Optimize battery usage -> All apps -> TAXImet -> Disable optimize.
