TeamSnap - Team organization & scheduling

I've used this app for many years with different kids in various sports. The funny remarks about the slow loading were okay, but now it's too much with the loud ads from Wells Fargo. I can't even navigate two screens without constant ads popping up that I have to close. This has made the app really annoying, and teaming up with such a questionable bank isn't helping either.

I find it annoying. My kids' sports teams use it. The ads are irritating. I tried to get the ad-free version but there's an issue with confirming the subscription. Also, chats won't load properly. When I open a chat, nothing shows up. I have to switch to emails and then back to chats for messages to appear. It's frustrating to do this workaround almost every time.

Messages disappeared, notifications weren't showing up, and posts weren't staying. I can't edit messages to fix errors. Now the app keeps crashing, making it impossible to open. Tried reinstalling and restarting my phone but it didn't work. My family and players rely on this app to reach me. I have an important update to share urgently, but now I'm stuck without a way to communicate.

The team uses it to let everyone know when games, events, and practices are happening. I really like the tracking feature too because it shows who hasn't turned in things like waivers or payments. And I also love being able to get live game updates by quarters, halves, and goals.

This tool is great for keeping in touch with parents and players. The players use it to talk about team strategies and support each other. It's excellent for building team unity!

So, there's this app that's really awesome when it's working properly. But then, during the summer, I suddenly stopped getting notifications for chats. Because of that, I ended up missing a few practices and even a team party! I tried doing what they suggested - uninstalled and reinstalled the app, checked all the necessary settings - and it did help with two teams. Unfortunately, it completely kicked me out of another team, and now I can't get back in. Honestly, I wouldn't rely on this app for important communication needs.

I couldn't log into TeamSnap, so I reached out to their support team. They got back to me fast. Turns out, I was using the wrong email to log in, that's why it kept taking me to the sign-up page instead. I'm grateful for the quick response from TeamSnap, and the emails were really useful. I managed to log in successfully, and I'm totally loving the app! 🥳

The app is good for keeping your schedule and availability, but it's bad for tracking wins and losses. Before, you used to enter your result, and it would keep your record and show if the game was won or lost. The recent update they released that removed that feature was useless. Now, with the latest update, the post-game report doesn't allow you to enter the game score. I'm trying out other apps that have all the features I need.

The messaging, alerts, and updates don't alert the team members even if you adjust the settings. Notifications often don't show up despite checking the settings. The real-time game screen is unreliable and frequently doesn't work. It would be helpful if it did.

The app is great in theory, but on my android phone, the messaging part has some issues. I receive notifications for messages even when there are none. Then, after a day or two, all the unread messages flood in, but by then, they are no longer useful. Due to this unreliability, I rate it 2 out of 5 for now.
