How to create a Precision Program?

Once you have downloaded and registered inside the Technogym App, you can create your Precision Program at any time.

You can create your Precision Program later, selecting the tab: "Create your Precision Program" from your Coach Technogym App section.

In both cases, the process of creating your Precision Program will be the same, since in order to determine the perfect solution for your unique training experience, you will be asked to answer a few questions so that the Technogym Coach will assign you a personalized training plan.

For example, among the different types of questions you will be asked to answer "What makes you move?", with the option to be specific:

‍Fitness: Getting in the zone and feeling better;

Sports: Improving my game in my favorite sport;

Health & Lifestyle: Working out with a regimen that suits my physical condition.

In addition, during the assessment you will also be able to identify other key aspects that will enhance your training experience overall, including:

Your experience level;

Duration options for your workouts;

Equipment you would like to include in your workouts.

Precision In the following content you can have a more detailed overview of the different programs of the Technogym App, so you can choose how to make your training experience more and more personalized, perfectly suited to your unique needs.

Your Fitness Programs

These fitness programs are ideal for body shaping, weight loss, body shaping, muscle building and staying youthful.

In detail, in order to be assigned a tailor-made fitness equipment program among the available fitness equipment, you will be asked to answer more detailed questions during the assessment phase.

What are your goals?

In this particular section, you can further select among your main fitness goals:

Start exercising: get active and feel healthier;

Stay young: rejuvenate your body and feel better;

Tune your body: slim down and improve definition;

**Lose weight:** burn calories and increase metabolism;

More strength: build muscle and increase strength.

What is your training experience?

In this phase, you can select your training level in order to be assigned an extremely personalized training experience:

Beginner (I am starting to train now);

Intermediate (I have been training for about 3 months and know a thing or two);

Advanced (Training is my thing. I have been working out regularly with advanced exercises).

How long do you want to train for

During this phase you can choose how much time you would like to devote to training: 20, 30 or 40 minutes.

(Please note that the weekly frequency of the daily workouts you assign depends on the duration of the workouts you choose during this phase).

How do you like to train

In this section you can specify whether you would like to train with

Sessions: follow-up workout videos led by a trainer who motivates and guides you every step of the way;

Routines: a list of exercises to perform at your own pace, with short demonstration videos and optional audio guides.

How to add or modify your fitness tools and equipment Program

During the assessment, your Technogym Coach will also ask you to specify your equipment or tools in order to include them in your Precision Program.

However, please remember that even if you have already assigned your fitness program, you can always modify your available equipment by going to your Profile icon > Your equipment.

In addition, if for any reason you don't have a specific device at your disposal that day (perhaps you're traveling), for example, you can also change and manage the equipment of a single daily workout, so that the suggested workouts will adapt to the equipment you currently have available.

You can do this by simply pressing the white pen icon located next to "Start Workout" after selecting your **"Daily Workout**" in the main interface of the Coach section.

Sports Programs

These sports programs are perfect for those who want to maximize their performance in tennis, golf, running or skiing.

Also in this case, you will be asked to answer several questions in order to assign you the perfect sports program that suits your unique needs.

What is your goal

In this particular section, you can choose the sport in which you want to improve your skills as your main goal:

Running: Learn how to run like an expert;

Cycling: Improve your performance on the bike to excel when racing;

Tennis: Dominate the court on race day;

Skiing: Conquer the slopes with speed and control;

Golf: Master my swing and my game;

Sailing: Learn how to adjust the sails and control the wind.

Tools and Equipment

In this phase, you can choose the equipment you have available among the equipment specifically proposed and specified to practice the sport you want to improve.

What is your training experience?

Also, within these sports programs, you can choose your training level:

Beginner (I'm starting to train now);

Intermediate (I've been training for about 3 months and know a thing or two);

Advanced (Training is my thing and I've been working out regularly for more than 3 months).

How long do you want to train for

All sports programs require at least 45 minutes to get a properly immersive training experience.

Keep in mind that for the running programs, you will be asked to specify additional information like "How far do you want to run?" or "How far can you run and how long will it take?".

Health and Lifestyle Programs

These programs are ideal if you want to get the benefits of physical activity with exercises suitable for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, overweight and back pain.

Also in this case, Technogym Coach, guides you to solve more specific problems.

What is your physical condition

During this phase of the assessment, you can choose between four specific health needs:

DIABETES: do regular exercise to ensure your blood sugar management routine;

HYPERTENSION: do physical activity for your blood pressure management program;

LOW BACK PAIN: strengthen your lower back and increase flexibility;

EXCESS: be more active to burn fat.

Once you have chosen one of these programs, an extensive disclaimer will be displayed in order to guarantee a safe training experience.

In fact, its purpose is to warn you that the overall content of the program recommendations is not intended to replace a diagnosis and/or any medical advice; specifically stating that you are also responsible for the data provided and that you bear all risks for any errors in these data.

In addition, in addition to this, there is a concluding section that clarifies which categories of patients, due to their health conditions, are not recommended to follow the proposed program.

Finally, at the end of this body, you are asked to acknowledge and accept all the above conditions, and only after this last step can you finally move to the next stage of the assessment process.

How to add equipment to your Health & Lifestyle Program

Each of the health programs, except the Low Back Pain Program, requires the use of a treadmill or a bike.

In addition, you can eventually add strength equipment to your program, choosing between "Kinesis", "Power Personal" and "Unica".

The reason behind these available options lies in the important role played by the equipment, since these programs are intentionally created in order to allow you to achieve your goals without compromising your overall health.

In addition, if you choose, instead, the Lower Back Pain Program, you will not need any specific equipment.

In fact, in this particular program, you will be asked if you have experienced severe back pain in the past 4 months, and based on your answer to this last question, the Technogym Coach , will then build and design a program aimed at restoring the balance of the back, while proposing you stretching exercises.

Last but not least, if you end up deciding to leave the evaluation process of the Health & Lifestyle program early, a small disclaimer will remind you to obtain medical consent before starting training and to avoid strenuous exercise.

This notification will also appear if you choose to end the program earlier than planned.

(Please note that Signature and Precision programs cannot be active at the same time).

How is my workout compliance calculated?

The compliance of your workout exercises is calculated differently depending on the kind of workout that you chose:

If your program is made up of regular routines, the compliance of each exercise will be provided by the ratio between the reps you got and the estimated reps for that exercise. For example, if the estimated reps for an exercise are 10 but you got 9 reps, your compliance would be 90% for that exercise.

If your program is made up of Technogym sessions, the compliance of each block will be provided by the percentage of the Session videos you actually followed. For example, if a Technogym Session proposed by a Technogym Coach lasts 20 minutes but you only followed the first 15 minutes, the compliance for that block would be 75%.

At the end of the last block, the final workout compliance will be given by calculating the weighted average of each single exercise and their duration.

In fact, another aspect that affects the final workout compliance is the time you use to complete the entire workout: if you use more time than expected (for example, because you need more rest time than the Technogym Coach recommends, or because you pause the workout to answer a phone call), then the final workout compliance may vary.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

The Technogym app seamlessly integrates with major third-party tracking devices, apps, heart rate monitors, Apple Health, and Apple Watch, enabling you to monitor your activities, health metrics, statistics, and progress in your fitness journey. Additionally, keep track of your health data in the personal Wellness Passport section of the app, accumulate MOVEs (activity units), and monitor your MOVERGY level (average MOVEs over two weeks).
