TED - Inspiring Talks & Ideas

The app keeps stopping the videos shortly after I lock my screen, which is really annoying, especially if I'm wearing gloves and have to keep pressing play every few minutes. It would've been nice if there was a "play next" or "add to queue" feature. Despite that, I really enjoy the talks, it's just the app that's a bit tricky to handle.

Confused why TED has many problems. On my Samsung tablet and phone, it works well! Ads are rare, speakers speak clearly, video is sharp. TED has numerous speakers on various topics you can choose what you like. Some topics might be controversial, but many are enjoyable. 5 stars for TED! 👍🏼

The app is so unreliable. It takes forever to start, and sometimes it doesn't work at all without an internet connection. It's frustrating that you can't download anything properly. It's ridiculous that there's no casting option in this day and age, especially when the TV app isn't even working. And to top it off, I found a video I had saved and downloaded, but it won't even play.

The app used to be awesome with transcripts and it worked perfectly. However, this new version is frustrating because the videos keep pausing and the app runs too slowly. I also couldn't save any videos as they took a long time to download. Eventually, I had to remove the app! I'm eagerly awaiting the next version, hoping for improvements. TED is my ultimate favorite!

I found this amazing app called Ted that helps me learn new things and apply them in my life. It's packed with awesome videos and podcasts that support personal growth. The content is top-notch, but the user experience needs improvement. The interface is well-designed, but the app is sluggish and unresponsive. For instance, when I try to pause a video, it takes over a minute for the app to actually register and pause it.

The stuff is nice and makes you think, but I can't adjust the video resolution. It'd be awesome if there was an audio-only feature too. The download button doesn't seem to be functioning for me. It would also be cool if viewers could rate the videos with a like system, similar to YouTube. This way, we can easily see which talks are really good.

Enjoy watching TED talks, but the app on my tab S7+ is not very stable. When using the player, I can't switch to another app and then return to continue watching. The audio keeps playing, but the video won't resume. Once the video starts, the controls disappear and I can't fast forward or rewind. Because of these issues, I now prefer using the website instead of the app.

I appreciate TED for offering all these amazing videos for free. Watching them is truly transformative. However, the app has a few bugs that disrupt the experience, such as audio continuing after exiting a video, videos not loading at times, and lagging problems. Also, it's missing a dark mode or theme. It would be so simple to add one, right?

Ted, I just found out about your app and it's really awesome! It would be even better if you could add like and list buttons to the now playing section. This way, we can easily like videos and add them to our lists for watching again later, instead of having to search for them later. Thanks and keep up the good work!

There is this app that I love using to watch Ted talks when I'm traveling. However, there's this issue with My lists. I've noticed that whenever I remove something from the list, it ends up back on the list the next day. It's quite frustrating because I rely on the list to keep track of the talks I've watched and those I plan to watch. It would be great if you could address this bug with the lists.
