theScore - Sports news & scores

Love the app, especially the multi-sport widget! It's the only scoreboard app I use. Some suggestions for improvement: please include women's sports such as National Women's Soccer League, UEFA Women, Softball, etc. Also, consider adding other leagues like Scottish Premiership or Nippon Professional Baseball. Regarding the user interface, it would be helpful to have the option to keep the bottom menu bar (news, scores, favs, etc.) locked for easier page navigation. Sometimes the back arrow at the upper left doesn't take me directly to the desired page. Thanks!

A nice app that helps you check scores easily. Lately, there are a lot more ads popping up which can be annoying. I'd definitely pay for a version without ads. Today, when I tried to open the app, it just showed me an ad and then got stuck on the logo screen. Reloading didn't help, it stayed stuck at the same point.

There is something that really annoys me. The app, particularly on Android, displays ads a bit after everything else loads, causing the content to shift down. As a result, when you try to click on something, the ad suddenly pops up and you end up clicking on it instead of what you intended. It seems like a sneaky way to make money from ads. And now they even have ads at the bottom doing the same thing. Not a fan of this at all.

In the past, putting ads in games was not a big problem. However, they recently started placing ads at the top of the screen with a slight delay. This makes it frustrating because the ad shows up every time you try to access chat, pitch by pitch updates, or the box score, causing accidental clicks. It seems underhanded and dishonest. Not good at all.

I loved using this sports tracking app, but now I can't stand it because of the annoying ads. They interrupt me a lot more than before. Sometimes when I'm using the app, it suddenly opens my web browser to show me some spam contest site. I tried reaching out to customer support, but they never replied. It's a shame because I really enjoyed reading the news articles and checking the game updates on this app. For now, I've switched to CBS sports. If you're facing the same issue, I recommend doing the same.

So there's this app called theScore, been using it for years. But suddenly in July 2019, it stopped working properly. No scores, no leagues. It's been a whole month now and still not fixed. Seems like others are facing the same issue. It's frustrating that such a tech problem persists in this day and age. Even though it's free, I might need to find a different app for sports updates.

I've been using this app for over 10 years, since it was called Score Mobile. Lately, it keeps crashing, even after I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it twice. I have to find another app for sports scores and news now. It's been a great run with The Score.

This app is usually great, but lately it's been having trouble updating scores. For instance, the Colorado - Detroit game tonight shows the score as 4-2 with 15:41 left in the second period, when it's actually 6-3 and the second period is done. I've tried closing and reopening the app and refreshing the score, but it just won't change. It's happening more often now and starting to annoy me.

Decided to reinstall the app after taking a break. Wanted to check if the updates had addressed my previous issues. Happy to see that some of the features I enjoyed from an older version are back. The ads are less intrusive now compared to when the update first came out. Will definitely use this app again for sports news and stats. Thanks, theScore!

I've had this app for a really long time. It used to be the best among all the sports scores apps I've tried. However, a few months ago, things went downhill. It's so frustrating now – always glitching, super slow, and often gets stuck on the load screen. I've tried everything – updating, deleting, reinstalling, but no luck. I'm using a new Samsung phone, so that's not the problem. Sometimes it shows which network the game is on, sometimes not. All I want is to open the app and check the score, which should be a simple task.
