Third Eye is a camera application that allows you to record videos even when your screen is turned off, acting as your "Third Eye."

What can the Third Eye do?

As already stated above, Third Eye - Smart Video Recorder acts as a simple and easy-to-use application for anyone that needs to record videos — both short and long — in a discreet, battery-saving manner. This app offers support for both your front and back cameras, so you can easily begin filming regardless of what angle you want to capture your video from. 

The app’s interface is sleek and easy to use, as well. Its modern UI allows you to organize and find all of your recorded videos from within the app, so you don’t have to worry about having to search for them individually in your device’s gallery. Third Eye allows users to record videos in various video resolutions, including 1080p, 720p, and 480p. 

This allows you to save your clips in high quality for better viewing or at a lower resolution to save extra storage space. However, default settings on your device will automatically cut a video once the file reaches 4 GB or when the 30-minute mark hits. Once you meet these restrictions, the app will automatically crash in order to stop filming.

Q: Why does recording stop when a video file reaches 4GB in size (approximately 30 minutes)?

A: By default, the Android system will cease video recording once the file size hits 4GB or after 30 minutes of duration. To prevent this, you can utilize the "Limit time and Repeat recording" feature, setting the maximum time to 30 minutes or less (ideally matching the duration until a 4GB file is reached on your device). Alternatively, if storing the file on an SD Card, format it as exFAT instead of FAT for extended video recording capabilities (over 30 minutes). We recommend keeping video recordings under 20 minutes.
