Here's how to find a great bargain:

1.To buy on Tradera, you need to create an account.

2.With an account, you can save auctions you are interested in to your wish list by tapping the heart symbol. When the auction is about to expire, you will receive a reminder to avoid missing out on making a bid.

4.Simply tap on a product you're interested in to see if it's on auction, or will be sold at a fixed price. If it is sold at a fixed price, the purchase works like any other e-commerce website, just click and buy. If there's an auction, it's important to have the highest bid when the auction expires.

5.A good tip is to use the maximum bid function. You enter the maximum amount you are comfortable paying for the item and then Tradera will take care of the bidding for you automatically up to your maximum bid.

6.If you win the auction, simply pay using one of the payment methods specified by the seller in the auction.

How selling works:

1.To sell on Tradera, you need to create an account.

2.Create an ad

3.Write a descriptive title, such as "Brass candlestick from Skultuna"

4.You can choose up to five photos for your ad – feel free to use them all, the more the better!

5.You can sell by auction or at a fixed price. It's up to you.

6.When there is a fixed price, it works like a regular ad. For an auction, choose when the bidding will end and then sell to the highest bidder.

7.You can use our shipping calculator to quickly figure out which shipping option will be best, or you can choose to have the buyer collect.

8.Then publish your ad on Tradera.

Frequently asked questions

-How to get help the quickest?

Searching for a topic or asking our chatbot is the fastest way to get an answer. Did you know that you can perform most things under "More actions" in the list for Your purchases and Your sold? Another good idea is to try asking the buyer or seller the question in the message function, the seller knows, for example, when the item will be shipped.

-How do I turn off the feature for autofill listings?

We hope you want to test our feature a bit more before turning it off, but if you prefer to write all the content of the ad yourself, you can turn off the feature in Seller Settings.

-When will my purchase be shipped/delivered?

The seller is the one who knows when the package will be sent, Tradera unfortunately does not have that information. You can ask the seller when the package will be sent by asking a question on the "Contact" button in the ad or on the Chat icon in the list of Your purchases.

-Can I remove a bid?

Bidding on Tradera is binding and it is not possible to remove a bid during an ongoing auction. If you are the winner in the auction and want to cancel the deal, you need to contact the seller for approval. Please note that the seller is under no obligation to agree to cancel the purchase.

If the seller approves that the deal is cancelled, the seller must report this by selecting "No sale" under the "More actions" menu in the Your Sold list.

-How do I handle a problem with a purchase?

Have you not received the product, is it not as described or broken?

--When you have buyer protection

If you have buyer protection, you can start a case by clicking "Problems with purchases" under "More actions" in the list Your purchases. Customer service cannot start the case for you, you need to do that yourself.

--When you don't have buyer protection

If you do not have buyer protection, you can report the seller by clicking "Problems with purchase" under "More actions" in the Your purchases list. You can also report the matter to the police. Unfortunately, Tradera's customer service is unable to help you without buyer protection.

-How do I make a refund to the buyer?

You can make a refund up to 1,000 SEK yourself via the "Your Sold Items" list. In the "More actions" menu, you will find "Refund". Then you can choose whether it is the entire amount or part of the amount.

To make a refund over 1,000 SEK, you need to contact customer service.

-How do I cancel/change a booked shipment?

You can cancel/change the shipping as long as you have not submitted the package to the agent.

--How to do it:

1. Go to the list of Your sold items

2. Click on "Cancel/Change shipping"

3. Choose whether you want to cancel or cancel and book new shipping

If you book new shipping, the old QR code/shipping label will be invalid, and you will receive a new confirmation email with the new shipping documents.

-How do I cancel my listing that has bids?

You are bound to sell the item on Tradera once you have received an offer.

Has the item been lost, broken or has the condition changed? Then you can make an addition to the ad where you describe what happened, you can also contact the highest bidder from the Active listings list.

What then happens when the auction ends? Tell the winner what went wrong and agree on a solution. For example, you can give a discount if the product is damaged. If there is no deal, you can cancel the sale to get the commission back or refund the buyer if they missed something went wrong and accidentally paid.
