Traffic Rider Strategies

Right Down The Middle

Traffic Rider

While playing Traffic Rider you’ll be forced to make split-second decisions that leave you just enough time to react. If you wait too long to decide to juke around cars to the left or right you’ll likely end up crashing right into one of the cars you were thinking about dodging. Trust me, I’m speaking from experience on that one.

But what if there was a third option. Not dodge left, not dodge right, but dodge…through the middle?

Yes, it can be done! Driving right between two cars is possible. It’s very tricky (and risky!) but it can be done and in an emergency it can really save your butt.

Stay Focused

Traffic Rider

As you play through the career mode, you’ll have to complete various objectives to successfully pass the level. Every career mode level is not simply a race from point A to point B. Sometimes you’ll have to drive a certain distance in a certain amount of time, or maybe you’ll have to overtake X amount of cars in half a minute. But, if you’re not paying attention to the objective (which appears at the top of the screen at each level) you won’t know what to do and will likely fail the mission.

For The Win

Traffic Rider

There will be times when crossing the finish line, or overtaking the last car will result in a car accident.

Go for it.

The game ends as soon as the objective is met. So even if your victory screen is driving you right into the rear of the semi-truck infront of you, it won’t matter. Just get that front wheel over the finish line and you’re good to go.

Another tip about disregarding vehicles is that as soon as you begin to pass a vehicle, you can cross into their lane. It’s a weird thing that I’m pretty sure has to do with first-person perspective, but I found that you can cross into a neighboring lane once you’ve passed the majority of a vehicle, even if the vehicle is still on screen. It’s not super reliable, but just like with tip 1, in a pinch it can  save you from losing.

Control Controls

Traffic Rider

If you’re really not feeling the motion-based controls that Traffic Rider utilizes, options exist to change up the control layout of the game. Just go into the options menu, hit Controls, and you can select three different control options and even (in the Advanced menu) enable blood for splatter effects when you wreck.

TIPS

- Achieve higher scores by accelerating

- Earn bonus scores and cash by closely passing cars at speeds over 100 kmh

- Gain extra points and money by driving in the opposite direction on two-way roads

- Perform wheelies to attain additional points and cash

This game is one of the best in its category. It's so realistic that it can be a bit scary when you're weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds. It's not something you'd try in real life, unless you're daring. It's a great game for those seeking excitement. You can go as far as you want to, and it's all in first person view, which gives you the feeling of really riding a motorcycle, sports bike, or scooter. There's also a dirtbike available. The challenges in the game are perfect for dedicated gamers. I highly recommend it!

Biking is enjoyable. The game starts out fun. The graphics are decent. But the later missions become really hard because of too many cars blocking your way. I'm at level 43. You can try to wait for the cars to clear a path, but then you waste time. The cars fill up all lanes, leaving no space to pass without crashing. It's very annoying. The cars prevent you from completing missions on time. Additionally, it takes forever to earn in-game currency, almost making it a pay-to-play game. Highly frustrating.

The game is really enjoyable and has great graphics. My only issue is that it takes too long to get back on the bike after hitting something or getting flung off. It would be better if there was an option to restart the level immediately or continue playing while flying off the bike.

The game is tough but just right. You have to purchase respawns to beat levels after 10. It can be frustrating when you're so close but then need that respawn. However, you get respawns as bonuses for doing well. Despite needing respawns often, it's a great way to pass the time and super enjoyable. (Gave 4 stars due to near misses requiring respawns, r/MildlyInfuriating)

I used to play this game and really liked it, but the time trials have made it less enjoyable. It used to be possible to achieve good times, but not anymore. It seems like you don't want us to succeed and have a good time. You keep putting obstacles in our way and limiting our options. Relax a bit and let us enjoy riding fast and pushing ourselves!

I can't stop playing this game! Even when I get stuck on a level, I just keep going until I beat it. Earning money in the game to buy better bikes and going faster is so satisfying. It's cool that they give you some free stuff too. I won't spend real money to progress, so I'm glad the game lets me have fun without that pressure.

I rate this game a 3. The tasks are difficult, they don't give you much time and it's frustrating. You only get one chance if you mess up by running out of time because time goes by too fast. It's hard to turn as it can be slippery and there are lots of crashes. It's so frustrating that I almost broke my phone. I would recommend this game if you don't have anger issues. 😁😐
