1. What is TREVO?

TREVO is a people-to-people car sharing platform where Guests can book any car that fits the needs and wants for the trips they are going to, from the nearest Hosts in the TREVO community.

TREVO envisions a world where the community is closer, mobility is better, and travelling is easier. We aim to help our Guests reach where trains don’t and to fill the gaps in their journey by exploring with any car. We also want to enable Hosts to earn extra income to finance their cars and their lives, while they help to improve mobility in Malaysia.

2. How long is the account approval process?

It usually takes a maximum of 24 to 48 hours for your account to be approved. For Hosts, please allow additional 24 hours for listing to be approved.

3. How do I update my contact number?

(1) On the TREVO app, go to “Account”.

(2) Tap “View and edit profile”.

(3) Tap your mobile phone number.

(4) Update your new phone number.

(5) An OTP will be sent to you for verification.

4. Why is my booking rejected?

There are many reasons why your booking has been rejected by the Host such as the car is under maintenance or the Host is not able to commit to last minute arrangements.

Except for Instant Booking listings, it shall be the Hosts’ sole discretion to accept or reject a booking request.

For the best experience, book with Hosts with high acceptance rates listed under the Superhost Collection card on the app.

Host's historical booking request acceptance rate can be viewed from the car's listing page. In essence, the higher the acceptance rate percentage, the higher the likelihood of your booking request to be accepted.

5. What are the payment methods accepted by TREVO?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, TREVO wallet, GrabPay and Touch 'n Go eWallet. We are also working to introduce more payment methods in the future.
