TripIt - Travel organization & itinerary

I pay $49 per year for the pro version of this app. It hasn't been helpful to me during international flights. I recently had a flight that got delayed by 3 hours, then moved again, but the app didn't notify me about these changes. This has happened to me with other flights as well. There's a risk of missing flights. The tech support says it's the fault of their monitoring service, but as a paying user, that doesn't concern me. I just need a reliable service, which I'm not getting here. Perhaps I should try the competition instead. This is disappointing and unreliable.

The system doesn't handle cancelation confirmations well. If you travel internationally and need to use Portuguese, it may not work for you. It's better suited for domestic travel with minimal changes as it struggles with cancelations and has limited language recognition.

Before, I had a similar problem, but now it's happening all the time. When I try to open the app, it gets stuck on the message 'Syncing Offline Changes' and stays frozen. I can't access any travel plans or even exit the app. This issue has come up before, and I don't understand why they can't update it in the background. This is the first time it has completely crashed the app. I appreciate that Trip It works offline, but they should make sure it works properly all the time. Also, I'm not sure what changes I made offline that led to this problem.

Flight tracking doesn't start until 72 hours before the flight, so it's not very useful for planning. Sometimes it shows the wrong dates, but refreshing the page fixes it. The seat tracker never works for me. It's easier to just use the airline's reservation system as it's always up to date and many provide apps that notify you of important information.

Okay so, there are some issues with the app. It needs improvement. When it links with Tripit, it should give boarding passes. You can't add your phone number from the app on your phone but it works on a laptop. Even in desktop mode on the phone, it does it by itself but not really. Also, you can't remove one wrong flight entry. The app is decent at finding flights in emails, but it missed one of my trip legs. Is there a limit of 5 flights maybe?

My phone keeps resetting at the beginning every time I do something on it, like adding or viewing things. It's really frustrating because I have to keep scrolling down to where I was in my itinerary every couple of minutes. This is making planning my 21-day trip take much longer than it should. Also, whenever I add something new, it goes back to the start of the itinerary instead of staying where I left off. There are just so many problems with this.

The map function was a big disappointment. It lets you mark spots on a map, but you can't see your whole plan on it as claimed. When I tried, only nearby points appeared, and there was no way to zoom out for a broader view. I could just see half of my schedule on the map. Not helpful at all.

I really like this app. It would be great if it could automatically save screenshots of boarding passes for me, as sometimes I have trouble logging into airline apps at the last minute when I need them the most. It's more convenient to have all these details stored in one place without needing separate apps. I was also disappointed that the "miles traveled" feature in my stats doesn't seem to be functioning properly, despite listing my trips and visited cities. Tracking my travel distance would be a cool addition.
