Streaming from Android Devices

You may stream from your mobile App or 3rd-party OBS.

1) Trovo App

a) Open the Trovo App, click the avatar in the top-right corner, and find Go Live.

b) Fill in 'Stream Setup' Page

c) You can adjust the Orientation, Host URL, and Streaming Quality in Advanced Settings, and you can also check network connection before streaming.

d) After clicking 'Go Live!', you can see the step-by-step instructions. Note that if you need to record your voice and game audio, please turn on the microphone.

e) On Android devices, streamers can open a chat-floating window by clicking ‘Float’ during live streaming. Also, the ‘Camera’ function can capture your stream.

2) 3rd-Party OBS

Here we use Streamlabs as an example:

a) Open streamlabs, click the menu in the upper-left corner and click Account Settings.

b) Go to 'Custom PTMP Server' > Setup

c) Copy HostURL and Stream Key fromTrovo Creator Studio and paste into Custom RTMP, and click Save.

d) Click 'Streaming' in the menu to view more streaming settings.

e) Return to the main interface and click 'GO LIVE' to start live streaming, and the camera function will capture your stream.

f) If you want to stream screen recording contents, directly open the System Screen Recording Menu, select Streamlabs > Start Broadcast. Note that if you need to record your voice and game audio, please turn on the microphone.

g) For more screen recording guidance, you can open Screen Capture > Custom RTMP Server > TUTORIAL.
