🎮 T-Rex: Dino Simulator – Game Review (First-Person)
I didn’t think I’d enjoy playing as a prehistoric beast this much—but T-Rex: Dino Simulator completely changed that. The moment I stepped into the giant footprints of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, I felt unstoppable.
Right off the bat, the game throws some cool dino facts at you. I actually learned that the T-Rex could devour up to 500 pounds of meat in a single bite, and when I saw that happen in-game? Absolute carnage. The animations are wild—bones cracking, tails whipping, smaller dinos running for their lives. It’s chaos, and it’s awesome.
The gameplay loop is simple but satisfying. You hunt, survive, evolve. Stalking prey through dense forests or charging into a herd never gets old. The roar mechanic never stops being fun either—there’s just something cathartic about shaking the whole screen with your voice.
The environments are surprisingly detailed—lush jungles, rocky canyons, even volcanic zones. And the weather system? Chef’s kiss. Hunting in the middle of a thunderstorm is one of the coolest moments I’ve had in a sim game.
That said, it’s not perfect. The controls feel a bit sluggish sometimes (which, I guess, makes sense for a 9-ton lizard), and the camera can get awkward when you're up close. Still, the sense of scale and power totally make up for it.
T-Rex: Dino Simulator doesn’t just let you play a dinosaur—it makes you feel like one. And for any dino fan or sim enthusiast, that’s an experience worth having.
