This app is amazing! Whenever I think about flying, I rely on it. It's a fantastic tool that provides all the information I need before heading out. There are no ads or nonsense, which is really great. If only all other apps were like this. One thing that would make it even better is a widget so I could access it constantly. I wouldn't mind paying for that feature too.

This app is great for drone flying. I use it a lot, not only for checking the weather but also to ensure safe flights. The metrics and flight safety tips are super helpful. Plus, the map showing local airspace is handy; just bear in mind that it's more of a quick guide. Overall, I highly recommend this app for any drone pilot.

Not possible to use if you avoid using Google location service, which involves scanning for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

This weather app I use is usually spot on with its forecasts. It's become my go-to source for weather information. What sets it apart is how it details the wind speeds, breaking down the average and gust speeds at various heights. I've relied on this app for a few years now, especially when flying my drone. It's crucial in ensuring my drone doesn't get carried away by the wind while I'm out there flying.

This app is great because it helps you check if it's safe to fly your drone. It provides all the necessary information that can be personalized for your specific drone. I would have given it a perfect score, but the subscription fee is a bit pricey at £21.99 per year instead of a one-time payment. Personally, I will stick with the free version as I find the subscription too expensive. It's a pity because I like to support developers when the cost is reasonable.

Can you believe it costs over $60 every year? The API call it makes is exactly the same no matter if you pay or not. The only difference is that the free tier doesn't show all the data. These limits are just set by the program, like how many favorites you can have or how long the forecast is. It doesn't actually cost anything for the developer each month. The only thing they can charge for is the API call, but even with a huge markup, it's still just pennies per month.

I subscribed to the hobbyist version. I ordered a pretty strong drone, but what I'm flying now is a Matic Mini. Checking wind speed at higher altitudes far beyond my permitted flying area is very helpful, wherever I may be standing. There are many other advantages too. Paying less than $25 for peace of mind sounds like a good deal.

I used to enjoy being a carefree drone pilot until I had an accident. It made me reconsider all the potential risks involved. Planning for flying conditions became crucial. I made sure to be very meticulous, checking weather forecasts as well as observing the sky and wind using different applications. This new app is more efficient than what I could manage by myself. Its interface provides a straightforward set of tools that calculate one important factor: the level of safety for flying your drone at any specific time.

Wow, there's this amazing app for UAV pilots. I live in Maine and there are a lot of small airports around here. It's really helpful to know what to expect and be able to talk to other flyers to see who will be in the sky with you. The recent updates are fantastic and make the app even better to use. They are also working together with other UAV apps which is great. It would be cool if they could add more drone features to the app. This app is still awesome in 2022.

The app used to be really helpful before they changed. Now, you have to pay for subscriptions to see any forecast beyond the present time. It's a weather app, but the fees they ask for are too high, especially when compared to other apps like Done Assist that offer more features for free. I only found out about Done Assist because UAV Forecast started asking for money.
