Uber Eats - Food delivery service

So, check it out. I was using this app to order some food, but there was a glitch that messed up the restaurant's location. Yeah, I placed my order and all, then saw that the actual spot was way off from where the app said it was. I ended up choosing the pick-up deal instead. So, get this, when I reached out to support, they straight up told me there's no way they can give a refund for the mix-up, even though it was totally their fault for having the wrong spot on the map. My advice? Steer clear of that app if you can, and if you really gotta use it, make sure you triple-check that address so you don't come back with empty hands.

I understand your frustration with the app continuously prompting you to add a tip to previous orders, especially when you've already tipped the driver in cash. It's annoying and there is a risk of accidentally double tipping due to these pop-ups. The fact that this doesn't happen on the website doesn't make it any less bothersome. Hopefully, they can stop sending these pop-up messages to prevent any confusion or accidental double tipping.

I was super thrilled about how convenient this is for me. Being disabled, it really helps me out a lot. However, I had a $25 off coupon that should have been valid all day, but when I tried to place my order, it mysteriously disappeared! I don't appreciate it when coupons or ads are misleading. As I mentioned before, being disabled means I have very limited funds, so it's a real treat for me when I can enjoy something special. So, I got this email offering me $30 off my first order if I spent at least $1. Excited, I downloaded the app and filled my cart with $29 worth of groceries. At checkout, all they offered was free delivery, which is worth only $4.99. Oddly enough, there was no mention of the promised $30 discount, even though I had claimed it earlier. Definitely felt like a scam. I think I'll stick to Instacart; they're much clearer and more honest compared to sneaky Uber Eats.

I've had problems with all the delivery apps, but so far Uber Eats has been the best for drivers and customer support. I only had one issue with a driver, but they took care of it by blocking that driver from delivering my orders. Everything else has been really good. Grubhub lost my business five years ago, and Doordash lost my business last year. I hope Uber Eats continues to provide good service.

Oh man, dealing with customer service can be such a pain, right? It's like you send them proof of the messed-up order and they take forever to get back to you. Then when they finally do, they ask for even more proof, like seriously? And even after you provide it, they still give you the run-around about not being able to refund you. It's frustrating when they blame you for missing their refund deadline when it was actually their slow response that caused the delay. And what's up with them not seeing the obvious missing items in the photo you sent? That's just adding insult to injury.
