Universal Smart Tv Remote Ctrl - TV remote control

I'm so bummed out. I decided to try out this app because I can't stand the small remote that came with my Samsung Smart TV. Those tiny remotes drive me crazy – each button does like ten different things, and you need to jump through menus just to do basic stuff. I'm all about a big, easy-to-read remote that won't disappear between the couch cushions. Give me clear numbers and one function per button any day! But, turns out, this app remote is even less versatile than the Samsung one. I can get to the numbers menu, but there's no dash or dot for those HDTV channels. The struggle is real. Time to delete this app.

It just doesn't work at all. Plus, I don't understand why a TV remote app would need to use my microphone and access my location services. I suggest staying away from it entirely. Please don't even bother asking me to reach out to your support team. I've already uninstalled the app.

So, basically, since the last update, this thing just doesn't work. And to make matters worse, every time you try to connect, it bombards you with ads. Sometimes when you're trying to pick a TV show, it randomly exits to show an ad, then goes back to the TV selection menu. You click on a show and there you go - another ad! And don't even get me started on all those suspicious reviews that sound like they were written by robots pretending to be human. Crazy stuff!

So, the app is pretty good overall, but the only hiccup is that it requests permission as soon as you open it for the first time. If you don't happen to have the physical remote to grant access, then it becomes kind of useless. Also, in my case, it doesn't automatically connect, which is a bit inconvenient.
