Hiding Profile

There may be times, like when you start a new relationship, that you'll want to remove your profile from being visible to other members. If your profile is hidden, it will not be displayed in search result

Since this reduces your chances of finding a match, we recommend only hiding your profile when you are taking a break or have met someone you are interested in.

You have the ability to hide your profile from view at any time, for any reason.

To hide your profile from the discover stack, complete the following steps:

From the discover page, tap on your profile icon located on the top right of your screen

Under your profile photo, tap on the gear icon to access your settings

Scroll down and locate "Show me on Upward" tap to turn the toggle to the left to hide your profile

Tap on Done located at the top right of the screen to save your changes

You can turn this back on at any time to be shown in the discover stack again.

Viewing Your Own Profile

If you would like to view the way your profile appears to others, follow the steps below.

1. From the discover page tap on your Profile icon on the top right of your screen

2. Tap on your profile photo 

3. Scroll to view your entire profile

How to Upload a Photo

Photos can be uploaded from Facebook, your device or you can take a selfie on the fly.

To upload a photo:

Tap the profile icon in the top left-hand corner

Tap the pencil edit profile icon

Tap the + add button

Select the photo you wish to upload, from Photo Library or Facebook

You can also allow access to your Camera and take a photo on the spot.

How to Delete a Photo

If you no longer wish to have a photo you uploaded on your profile, follow these steps to delete it:

Tap the profile icon in the top right-hand corner

Tap the pencil edit profile icon

Tap the X button located at the bottom right-hand corner of the photo

You must have at least one photo at all times. If you attempt to delete your last photo, you will need to replace the photo with a different one.

    On my first day using the dating app, I finally met someone special after a year of trying. The app definitely has its issues. A distance filter would help. I also couldn’t change my name, which was frustrating. Plus, it updates your location every time you move, making distances tricky to figure out. Despite all that, I feel incredibly lucky to have met a wonderful Godly Christian woman through it!

    This app falls short in many areas. The premium price feels exaggerated for what’s offered. Features don’t function smoothly. The distance selector disappoints; it only shows a couple of users nearby while others pop up from 150 miles away. Uploading profile pictures becomes frustrating since it doesn’t let you use the full image. Cropping turns into a chore. Finding matches seems nearly impossible. There's plenty more to criticize. This app really misses the mark!

    The app really shines with some of its features. However, there are a few frustrating issues. The filter options do not work as expected. Many users appear within a 100-250 mile radius, no matter what range is chosen. Also, the app feels a bit tight-fisted when it comes to matches. Even with these setbacks, I find certain elements of the app enjoyable and hope for improvements down the line.

    The app has been decent overall. Feels like there are genuine users compared to other platforms. However, I have a bit of a problem. Lately, I've been getting notifications about missed messages. Each time I check, there's nothing there. Not sure what's going on or if there's a fix for it. It would be nice to see that sorted out.

    This app is fantastic! No ads, no premium options, and no swipe limits. It's refreshing to find something so well-made. Big thanks to the developers for this gem. I have a suggestion for improvement. How about setting up an automatic deletion for accounts inactive for two or three months? If that's already happening, that's great news. Another thought is to create a feature where users can filter between active and inactive accounts. That could really enhance the experience!
