How to place a booking?

You can follow the steps below to book a service on our app:

1. Search for the service on the home screen for the category you are looking for.

2. Open the category and follow the instructions as you proceed ahead.

3. Once you have booked a service, wait for the professional to get assigned. Professional will be assigned 1 hour prior to your booking time.

4. Assigned professional will reach your address at the time of the booking and will deliver the service.

How to book my preferred professional?

If you have already taken the service & rated the professional above 4 stars, You can book your preferred professional by:

1. Adding services in your cart

2. Selecting your preferred professional from the list of professionals

3. Proceed with placing the booking

If the slots of your preferred professionals are not available, please proceed with placing the booking and we will try to assign you the best professional available. All our professionals are trained to deliver a high quality experience. 

Loans on UC platform:

Selected partners can now apply for loans on the UC platform through the app.

We collect the following personally identifiable information:

1.Location (GPS coordinates): Location data helps identify the most suitable partner for a particular customer order by calculating the distance between the customer's location and the partner's location.

2.Call log data: Call log data is utilized to detect calls initiated by the app user (i.e. UC partner) that were unanswered by the customer. This information enables us to alert the customer about missed calls from partners and remind partners to follow up for better lead conversion.

3.Contact details data: With your permission, we gather your contacts data to identify who among them are already working on our platform. You can view their profiles, improve your own, and connect with them to learn successful practices on the UC platform. Contact data is stored on our servers, and at times, marketing communication may be sent to your contacts.

4.Transactional SMS data: Transactional SMS data is collected to determine eligibility for loans on the UC platform.

    That doesn't sound good. Your GPS setting is on, but the app says it's off. So your profile can't be checked and you're not getting any leads for the past 20 days.

    The city managers and BDA team have really poor management skills. They don't show respect to partners and behave rudely when talking on calls. They ask staff to come to the City office but there is no parking available for their vehicles nearby. The parking place is 1 kilometer away from the office address.

    I got this app and put in all the info needed but I can't get into it. I removed the app once because I gave up, but when I tried again, same problem. They don't help fix it. I've emailed and messaged them with no reply. Lucky I didn't pay, or it'd be a nightmare. If you invest and they ignore you, it's really bad. Waste of time and energy.

    The application used to work great for over a year. But now, we're facing problems adding credits. We're missing out on a lot of opportunities because we don't have enough credits to accept new leads. We've tried reaching out for help countless times – calling the helpline and emailing every day. Their response has been disappointing. It's been a week since we reported the credit issue, but it's still not fixed.

    If we think about two years ago, Urbanclaps was outstanding! However, in the last six to seven months, it has become terrible. Their policies have not been great and it is extremely difficult to find good leads on the platform. Even after spending more money on credits, the leads are terrible. If they do not improve their processes and app, even good TV ads will not help them grow.
