Verizon Messages - Text & call support

Stay connected with Verizon Messages sync capabilities for your Smartphone, tablet, and computer. Keep conversations fluid when transitioning between devices. Engage in personalized group chats, texts, photos, videos, and even gift cards worth up to $100 at places like Starbucks, Dominos, and more. The app is now open to all users for download and communication, not just Verizon customers (compatible devices required).

Enhanced Group Chats – Create group chats with up to 250 members. Share photos/videos instantly. Customize your chat background with avatars and more. Manage conversations by muting, adding or removing members without the need to create a new group.

Yelp Integration – Access Yelp from the app's plus menu. Search for restaurants, entertainment options, and directions. Plan activities and share details directly within your chat.

Location Sharing – Use Glympse™ to share your real-time location with chosen contacts for a specified duration. Ideal for meetups or informing others about delays.

eGift Sending – Send eGift cards through text messages via the app's plus menu. Choose from over 30 brands for your eGifting needs.

Cross-Device Synchronization – Install Verizon Messages on all your devices. Seamlessly sync messages across your smartphone, tablet, and computer. Transition between devices effortlessly and make calls using your tablet from any location.

Driving Mode – Enable driving mode to send automated replies and prevent distractions while on the road with deactivated message notifications.

HD Voice Calling – Subject to eligibility criteria. Associate your phone number with the Verizon Messages app on your tablet to make and receive calls regardless of network availability (cellular or Wi-Fi).

Set Up Verizon Messages (Message+) on a Smartphone

Verizon Messages (Message+) comes already installed on many Verizon Android smartphones. If it's not on your phone follow the steps below. For tablet setup, refer to the steps on setting up Verizon Messages (Message+) on a tablet.

Open the Play Store app on your mobile phone or tablet.

Enter "Verizon Messages" in the Search field.

Tap the Search key.

Select Verizon Messages from the search results.

Tap INSTALL and follow the prompts.

Note: You may see ENABLE instead of INSTALL. This means the app is on your device but has been disabled. Tap ENABLE to start using Verizon Messages.

Once the app is installed, open it.

If promoted, read and accept the Terms & Conditions.

Tap Start Messaging.

If desired, edit the nickname for the device.

Enter your mobile phone number.

Tap Send Code.

You'll receive a free text on your phone with a security code. Enter the code in the app on the device to set it up on your Verizon Messages (Message+) account.

You've successfully downloaded Verizon Messages and added your Android device to your account.

# Personalize messages with colorful emojis by tapping on highlighted keywords whilst composing messages.
