VERO - Social media platform

The app is easy to use and simple. But sometimes it takes a long time to load and shows a "Reconnecting..." message. You'd expect it to be fast because it's so simple. It needs to be optimized better even though it has been around for many years. However, there have been improvements in the recent update. A few minor bugs still exist but nothing major that would stop me from using the app.

They need more coding staff for the app because it has a lot of potential, but the user experience has problems. The idea of the app is great - no annoying algorithm or ads, and I can see what I want to see. It looks really nice too, but it can be difficult to use at times. It doesn't always respond quickly when I tap or swipe. They should optimize it more. I'm using a Pixel 4a with Android 13, just so you know.

Vero's future direction as a service and app is uncertain. The app undergoes subtle changes, which can be positive, but it struggles with handling large amounts of data. This leads to frequent freezes while scrolling through profiles, forcing users to restart and lose their place. The process of liking a public post from an unfamiliar profile is unreliable, causing unnecessary frustration.

I just started using it. We're moving from Facebook, so I probably haven't figured out everything yet. But it's been good so far. I did realize that once you set the security settings for who can view the video or photo, you can't change them.

Vero is that super cool app with no weird algorithms or annoying ads. It's a place to connect with people and share your photos. I love it because I've met so many other photography lovers who always cheer me on. The app is super easy to use on my phone or computer. I can post my pictures just as they are, no need to crop or resize them. And the moderators are awesome - real pros giving their time to help us all out.

Last week, the app didn't update properly several times, with the slides appearing black. I haven't seen any new updates for three days now. When I tried logging out and back in, it showed no connection to the server. Then, I noticed that on the search page, all the photographers' accounts were displaying as empty. The app used to be fantastic, but now I'm not sure what's happening with it.

That sounds great! Just make sure to fix the bugs and maintain the app as it is. Don't add reels or anything like Instagram, that would ruin the social aspect. Focus on improving the app and ensuring it remains a cozy space. Everything else is fantastic. I genuinely hope you won't alter this.

You know what would be great? Being able to change the privacy settings of a post after you've already posted it. There are times when I just can't make up my mind about who should see my post. Having to start all over again is a hassle, especially when I'm swamped with other things.

You like this app a lot and want it to grow. You're encouraging your friends to download it because you enjoy using it. It would be great if there was a feature to post text only, similar to Twitter, and a "story" function like Instagram. In general, you think the app is fantastic and you plan to keep using it.
