Video Compress - Shrink & share videos

It was working fine before, but now it won't play in the gallery or folder after trimming or compressing. The app says the codec is not supported, even though it's an mp4 file. Can you please fix it?

Tried to compress an old video but struggled with the complex file selection process. Familiar with the video's location but couldn't find it easily. Presented with confusing collections instead of a simple directory search option. Confusion arose from multiple "MOVIES" folders each containing different files. Why not just use the standard file manager for selecting files?

This app is simple, quick, and efficient. It does exactly what you expect without any hassle, so I decided to pay to remove the ads. Now it can run in the background and give me updates on the compression progress through notifications. I love that! There are different options for compression based on the size and resolution you want. You can reduce a 200MB file to 20MB or even shrink a 10MB file down to less than 1MB – it's up to you. I've never had any issues with it, so those who complained about certain things may have used older versions or just had bad luck. This app is fantastic. The only minor issue is the built-in player, which isn't perfectly centered or in full screen mode. It would be better if it could play in the system video player instead.

The app compresses files in the background. You can't see a progress bar, so I have to keep refreshing it and checking the file size in my file manager. The only issue is that it doesn't have an automatic selection feature to compress multiple files at once.

The app was just fine until the update on January 2nd, 2021. But now, it won't delete the audio like it's supposed to, even though I have that option turned on. And I can't find any compressed files in the right folder. It's really annoying and upsetting. Please fix this issue before I switch to a different app.

I enjoy using this app, but I have encountered two issues. Firstly, there is no save option after compressing a video, only the option to share it. Secondly, there is no indication of the video size when sharing it. I can see the original size before compression, but not after. I reached out to the developer with my feedback, but it was ignored. It felt like a waste of time and money. I had no other option but to uninstall this app and switch to Video Compressor, which is pricier but better in quality.

The app is good, but sometimes I leave it for a while and when I come back, it's really slow. You have to keep an eye on it and touch the screen regularly to prevent it from freezing. It's fine for short videos, but can be annoying for larger ones.

Using it is a breeze. Can't tell if the quality is reduced after compression. Sharing compressed files is a piece of cake.

It was great before the update, but now it's not good. The new interface has fewer options when selecting compression size. The most important thing is that it doesn't work anymore. I tried both the fast forward and compress functions. It showed 'done, tap to see it'. When I clicked on it, I saw the original video. I couldn't find the edited version anywhere on my phone. I'm going to delete this app. It's a waste of my time.
