    This app works, but its interface is not user-friendly. You have to pay twice just to test basic functions. The ads are annoying, even if you pay to remove them, they may still appear. To access all features, you need to pay a lifetime charge of $399. And the app keeps asking for ratings. This has been my worst experience with a paid app. I have deleted it and requested a refund.

    I found this awesome app that lets me control my computer from another room so I can watch videos on my bedroom TV. It's super easy to use - I can play videos on VLC or YouTube through a browser window effortlessly. I can even use my phone as a mouse or keyboard if I need to adjust the volume or do anything else. By connecting my computer to the TV with an HDMI cable, I can set up the TV as a mirror screen and it's like magic!

    I used to love this app because it let me turn off my computer and manage other apps. But now, it only functions when VLC is running. I've attempted uninstalling and re-installing it on both my PC and mobile device, but it keeps telling me it can't establish a connection. Please improve the app! It used to be fantastic, but now it's terrible. I'm running Windows 11 and Android 14. Everything was fine before, but they're neglecting to update the necessary components, so the companion app isn't functioning properly.

    This app does exactly what it says on the tin and does it really well. It could look nicer and be easier to use, especially with some changes for a better experience. Also, I couldn't get the notification controls to work for some reason. But overall, just minor things. Thanks!

    The VLC remote app is decent, but I got it to use the remote mouse and keyboard functions, which require separate payments. Despite paying for the remote mouse feature, annoying full-screen ads keep popping up on my screen. I'm trying to control something and suddenly an ad appears, interrupting my flow. When I tap to activate a window, the touchpad stops responding because of these ads. It's frustrating to have paid for a feature only to be bombarded with ads. In the end, even though I paid for it, I had to uninstall the app because the amount of ads became unbearable.

    I just wanted to give a big thank you to VLC for being the top media player from the very beginning. I've used it every day for about 15 amazing years. There's no other media player that can compare. Whenever I had files that wouldn't play, VLC always came through and could play any type of media file. That's why it's the best, and I'm still using it 15 years later.

    The app works well, but sometimes the connection isn't stable and you can't control it from the lock screen. I haven't seen a setting to stay connected with the screen off, but I haven't searched thoroughly yet.

    I rate this product with 3 stars. While it does work, it doesn't work very well. It took me a few tries and restarts to get it to function somewhat smoothly. It frequently stops, disconnects, shows ads, and requires reconnection before hopefully regaining control. Surprisingly, the power button does not serve its intended purpose. I found it more convenient to control the device from my laptop instead. This whole process made me stand up more often, turning it into a bit of an ordeal. I might give it another go later to see if it improves, but as of now, it seems unlikely.

    I tried using this product but it didn't work well. Sometimes it would work after refreshing, but it was unreliable. So, I bought "Remote Mouse" and it seems to be working better for me. It's frustrating that I spent money on the ad-free version of the first product only to end up buying another one.
