Wallpapers - Background images & customization

So, when I was checking out the images, I thought I could select a specific area of an image and that it would be cropped nicely for my wallpaper. However, it turns out that when I set an image as my wallpaper, the app doesn't crop it where I choose. It just decides on its own what part of the image will show up. This isn't what I had in mind, and I couldn't find any settings to change this feature.

You're welcome! I really don't like it. The theme only has a few color choices, and none of them are white like it was before. Also, the personal background image doesn't really match well. And the worst part is, I can't even turn this off without messing up other apps. This update is just terrible all over.

I found some really cool wallpapers, but it seems like they haven't added any new ones since 2017. It would be great to have fresh options to choose from. One problem I encountered was when I tried setting the wallpaper with the whale image onto my screen, only half of the whale actually shows up! I'm not sure how to fix this issue.

The photos are really nice, right? But when I try to use one of them as a wallpaper on my Huawei P30, the app ends up stretching the photo, making the image quality much worse. It seems like a bug because there's no need to stretch a photo that is already big enough to display properly. Interestingly, this problem doesn't happen when I do it on my Nokia phone.

So, I was using this awesome app from Google that really impressed me. I think it would be even better if they could add a couple of cool features. First off, it would be great if we could easily switch the background on both the lock screen and home screen with daily changing wallpapers. Also, I'd love to see a dynamic wallpaper option, similar to what Mac users already enjoy. Imagine how much fun it would be to have those features!

Yeah, so this app can change your wallpaper, but it doesn't do a great job. Sometimes, even if a picture is supposed to fit perfectly as a phone wallpaper, this app won't let you use the whole image. I ended up getting another app from a different company to make sure I can use the entire picture as my wallpaper. Plus, that other app has way more wallpapers to choose from. I won't be using this first app until they fix these issues and add more wallpapers.

Oh no, that's such a bummer! I remember how much joy it brought you every day to check out those fantastic landscape photos. It must be so disappointing that it suddenly stopped working. I can totally understand why you tried to troubleshoot by turning off your phone and checking the settings. And then to find out you couldn't reinstall the app because it came with your phone originally? That's really frustrating. It's tough having to see the same thing repeatedly when you were used to something new and exciting every day.

Hey, so on my S9+ phone, I noticed that I can't see a bunch of cool wallpapers to choose from. Instead, I only get to see the ones that are already on my device. When I want to change my wallpaper, I have to go through the Galaxy Themes app because this one doesn't show any new wallpapers like the ones I've seen in pictures or on Chrome OS. It's kind of disappointing because there was this awesome Cityscape wallpaper that I really wanted, but it only shows up as a small preview image. It would be great if they could fix this issue soon. If I can't use those neat Google-made wallpapers, then this wallpaper app isn't really doing much for me and taking up space on my phone for nothing.
