Wansview Cloud - Security camera control

This app is awful. It waits for motion to start recording, but the motion detection is unreliable. And then when you try to watch your short 3-second clip, it takes forever to load and sometimes shows the wrong color! The recording also often stops at 3 seconds even if the motion continues.

Wow, it's really frustrating to deal with this camera. At times, it doesn't record properly, making it unreliable. You'll receive notifications for movement, but when you check the cloud recordings, there's nothing there. It can also disconnect randomly without warning, leaving you unaware until it's too late. After that, you have to go through the process of reconnecting everything as if it's brand new. It's just not working smoothly at all, and here I am paying a monthly fee for this chaotic situation.

I felt unsure when I read all the negative reviews of this app. But after I installed it and set it up for my pet rats, I can't see why some people don't like it. It's actually really good! The app sends alerts when there's movement and saves recordings for you to watch later. The controls are easy to use and everything runs smoothly. I haven't tried the cloud storage option, so I can't say anything about that.

This app is not good. It cuts off often, doesn't always save recordings, and the recordings are very short. Sometimes it logs me out so I miss notifications. The camera quality is disappointing; it says it's 4k but it looks blurry, more like 720p or even worse. The audio is so bad that you can't understand what people are saying. The subscription feature is just trying to get more money from you. I wrote this review on March 20, 2024, and even after two updates, these problems still haven't been fixed. Today is June 7, 2024.
