How to Play

The controls are very easy to use. You just need to tap the screen to make your airplane go up and down.

As soon as you get above the enemy, you can tap the screen to make your airplane go straight.

Your score is the total of the points you got from all the enemies.

I know, it has a sketchy name (probs cuz the devs are Russian I think?), but hear me out for a second.

This game is grossly underrated in the English community. (The base game I think was Russian so I don't know, but googling this game does not bring up much.)

On the surface, Warplane Inc is just a sidescrolling well, warplane game where you can upgrade the various parts of your plane, progress through levels bomb the shit out of everything.

And in its core, that's what the game is if you ignore all the loading screen lore and the bittersweet ending. Most of the lore is given through letters from Anna, your significant other back in the capital, going to some sort of school, and newspapers who are strongly government-controlled.

I am not going to spoil it, i'd like you to experience it yourself, but its atmosphere, and especially the fact that it makes me feel something, which is rare in a mobile video game is just amazing.

The ending was silent, it was neither sad nor happy but a mixture of the two, and man was it good.

The game is free on the play store, and you don't need to pay a single dollar for the main story. You can support them via additional purchases if you wish to.

Even though the gameplay gets repetitive at certain stages, in my opinion grinding through those is highly worth it.
