To use "WATCHA", you must first register an account and prepare for payment. We will briefly explain the registration process and how to link with "WATCHA PEDIA".

First, when you download the app, a pop-up like this will appear.

In order to link "WATCHA" and "WATCHA PEDIA", we need to track activity between the two apps, so be sure to "allow" it here.

The registration procedure is as follows.

Tap "1 month free trial" (①), select a plan and press the red payment button (②)

Select a payment method (③), create an account, and tap the user icon (④)

"WATCHA PEDIA" users should select the same payment method as when registering for "WATCHA PEDIA".

When you create an account, a verification email will be sent to the registered email address. Be sure to complete the email verification there.

Search for works

Let's find works that interest you on "WATCHA" right away! There are four main ways to search on "WATCHA".

Searching from "Explore"

This is the most basic way to search. Open the "Explore" tab below and you can search by genre, country, or feature. There is no need to enter anything, just tap on the keyword to search.

Search by entering a keyword

This is also a basic way to search. Tap the magnifying glass icon to enter a keyword, and then enter a keyword such as the title of the work or the name of an actor to search. This is useful when you are looking for a specific movie.

Searching from recommended works

At the top of the "Explore" screen, there is a notation "Is this your first time on WATCHA?". Tap "Watch" next to it and a list of works recommended for you will be displayed.

All you have to do is find a movie you are interested in from the recommended works. It is updated every Friday, so please check it regularly.

Search by "Similar Works"

If you scroll down from the individual page of a work, you will see a list of "similar works" to that work. Check the "similar works" of your favorite movie and you may find a movie that suits your tastes.

Rate a work

You can also rate a work within "WATCHA". And works rated in "WATCHA" are automatically linked to "WATCHA PEDIA". Here, let's take a look at how work ratings are linked.

First, the rating procedure on "WATCHA".

Tap the star button on the individual work page of "WATCHA" (①) and slide left and right (②)

Next, check the work you rated on "WATCHA PEDIA" as it is.

Tap "See more on WATCHA PEDIA" (③) on the "..." button to check the details (④)

When I rated it on "WATCHA" and then looked at it on "WATCHA PEDIA", the rating was properly reflected! By first allowing activity tracking between the two apps, you can easily link them like this.
