WBD Screeners - TV & film content

The Warner Bros. Discovery Screeners app enables authorized Warner Bros. Discovery partners, clients, and employees to preview, download, or stream Warner Bros. Discovery TV and film content. To access the app, pre-authorization from a Warner Bros. Discovery contact and login credentials are mandatory.

Can I use WBD Screeners with a Smart TV?

The WBD Screeners App is compatible with the following Cast-Enabled Smart TV built-ins:

- Chromecast enabled Smart TV's (known as "Chromecast built-in")

- Roku enabled Smart TV's. 

For Chromecast Enabled Smart TV's-  We Recommend visiting the Chromecast Built-In Help Center  to learn more on connecting your Chromecast to external apps.

For Roku Enabled Smart TV's:  Visit the Roku Channel Store and search 'WBD Screeners'

We are not compatible with Amazon Firestick at this time.

Do I need an internet connection to use the app?

The WBTV Distribution app requires an internet connection with either a cellular data plan or a WIFI connection in order to stream or download content for "Offline" mode. "Offline" mode does not require an internet connection but will only allow you access to the content you have already downloaded.

By default, we have set the app to issue a warning when using your cellular data plan to stream or download.  This can be turned off or on in the "Settings" section of the app.

We also have set the app to only allow downloads of content when connected over a WIFI connection to avoid cellular data charges.  This preference can also be toggled on/off in the "Settings" section so if you have an "unlimited data" plan with your mobile provider you might want to allow downloads over cellular in addition to WIFI.
