We-Vibe - Couples intimacy & control

I bought this toy and it turned out to be the worst purchase ever. It's just average for regular use, but once you try to connect it to the app or through Bluetooth, things go downhill fast. It can't stay connected for more than a few seconds at a time, making the whole experience frustrating. The app doesn't work well with the toy either. Instead of enhancing the fun, it just ruins the mood completely. This was my second attempt with we-vibe products, and I won't be making that mistake again. My advice: avoid we-vibe products at all costs.

We've owned our 4+ toy for a while but never tried the app. I assumed we had a Lovense device, so I installed their app first. When I checked out all the neat features - syncing with songs, using the microphone to sync with music or voices, a GPS feature that adjusts speed as you drive, a community to share experiences, individual controls - it seemed awesome. Later, I found out we actually have a We Vibe toy, so I got their app instead. But all they had was vibration. Seriously, is this 2004? Their app needs a major update.

So, when I send a message in the app, the controls for the toy just vanish. It's so frustrating because then I have to reset the control to make them reappear. And another thing is that I can't change the vibration patterns easily. Even after creating my own pattern, I can't use it from the favorites menu. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The worst part is that the app only works if it's open. It would be great if I didn't have to reset the control each time just because I received a text or call.

After the update on June 27th, I can now successfully connect with my partner, but unfortunately, we are unable to control their toy. We managed to link my toy as well, however, neither of us can control it. It's important to note that when connected, we cannot have any other Bluetooth devices paired or switch to different apps and still stay connected. However, these limitations seem insignificant because even when connected, we lack control. In essence, if We-Vibe prides itself on app control being a standout feature, they should prioritize hiring skilled developers before pricing their hardware at over $100.

Connecting this "Bluetooth" feature was a real struggle, it took forever, and when we finally got it to work, it was glitchy. The controls were a nightmare compared to Lovesense. With Lovesense, you can control it using the remote or through your phone, and if the controller is not close by, it disconnects. When using the phone for control, there was a significant delay. It's just not up to par with Lovesense. To top it off, this toy is way overpriced at $214 USD after tax. From now on, we will be operating this toy manually.

Ignoring any technical issues, this app is poorly designed. When using it, the user has to constantly switch between chatting with their partner and controlling the device, which can be very distracting for the person in control. It would be much better if the chat and controls were all in one place, like how it's done in Lovense apps. Having them separated just doesn't seem logical and can really take away from the experience. This alone could be a major reason not to purchase the product, especially if you're using it for long-distance purposes.

I am extremely frustrated with this app! I've been attempting to connect with my partner who is far away for months now, but have faced nothing but problems. It takes an excruciatingly long 2 minutes just for the app to even load, and once it does, the issues continue. My partner experiences a blank screen and struggles to connect, likely due to the lengthy loading time. Every time I try to open the app, it crashes, making it impossible for us to communicate. Despite having the latest version of the app, Moxie, we are still unable to use its features. This needs to be fixed immediately!

The app is super cool and links smoothly with my Rave and Melt. It's simple to navigate and I've had no trouble connecting. Usually, I just control the toys by hand rather than using the app. I haven't tried using the app for shared play with a partner, so I can't comment on how well that works. In terms of the toys themselves, Wow Tech has awesome brands like We-Vibe, Womanizer, and Romp. I've bought products from all three brands and they've all been top-notch. Their customer service is excellent too!

It's simple to connect, though it sometimes loses connection briefly but reconnects fast. It's also convenient to connect with a partner. I wish there was an option to copy the share link instead of having limited ways to send it. But all in all, I really like it at this point.

Getting this app to sync with my toy can be a bit tricky at times, but once it's working, it's amazing! My boyfriend can control the toy and the whole experience from four states away. It's super helpful to have him on the phone so he can see the progress, but if we can't, there are little pictures of wave patterns that show the vibrations.
