1. If I delete my Weather Underground account, what will happen to my account with The Weather Channel?

If you delete your account on wunderground.com, you will also permanently remove your account and associated data on weather.com and The Weather Channel apps on iOS and Android. You will delete your data across all of these brands and platforms, including:

- Any subscriptions you may have with The Weather Channel and Weather Underground

- Any subscription bundles you may have through The Weather Channel

- Alerts and notifications across weather.com and The Weather Channel apps

- Saved locations

- Saved preferences

- Personal weather station data

- Privacy settings

2. Are the updates going to affect weather stations uploading or displays on the weather station dashboards?

No. The updates should not impact the uploading process or the display of weather data on the Weather Underground site.

3. Will my Ad Free subscription from The Weather Channel also apply to Weather Underground?

No. While the same email address and password now work across Weather Underground, weather.com and The Weather Channel mobile apps in a seamless login experience, the same principle does not apply to subscriptions. Any existing subscriptions you may have remain specific to either Weather Underground or to The Weather Channel’s website and mobile apps — not both.

4. How can I delete my account?

You can delete an account by clicking "My Profile" the top-right (next to the gear icon), then "Member Settings".

This will load the member settings page. Click the "Delete Account" option in the "Your Membership" box.

5. Why do I still see ads? I have a paid membership!

You shouldn't see ads as long as you're signed into the site with an active, paid membership.

If you are seeing ads, here are a few things to try:

1) Did you recently renew your membership?

Try signing out and back in again. That should activate the newly renewed membership.

If that doesn't work, forward your PayPal receipt to support@wunderground.com and we'll fix it.

2) If you didn't recently renew, but your membership is active:

Are you logged in? It will display "My Profile" on the top-right if you are.

Do any of the ads say something like, "Ads not by this site" or "Ads by Coupon Drop down" next to them?

If so, those ads are not coming from wunderground.com. Your system may have been infected with malware and you'll likely need to run some anti-malware software to fix it.
