Here’s how you can do it:

Open your app drawer. This is generally done by tapping an icon that looks like a grid or circle filled with small squares or dots, or by swiping up from the bottom of your home screen.

Find the app you want to have on your home screen. You might have to scroll to find it.

Once you find the app, press and hold your finger on the app’s icon.

Continue holding and drag the icon out of the app drawer.

You’ll find yourself back on the home screen. Just drag the icon to where you want it in the home screen, then let go.
