원기날씨 - Weather forecast & updates

The prize-winning app, 원기날씨, from the Meteorological Administration provides weather information at the district/town level based on data provided by the Meteorological Administration. Through 원기날씨, users can store up to five favorite locations to check the current weather, forecast by 3-hour intervals, weekly forecast, and fine dust pollution levels. Moreover, by utilizing national weather information, satellite images, radar images, and weather alerts, users can easily observe domestic weather changes.

Besides that, it offers convenient features such as automatic alarms for snow/rain, fine dust, and weather alerts, as well as a current weather status in the status bar, and various types of widgets.

- Fine Dust Information: It provides fine dust pollution levels and forecasts for each region based on data from Air Korea (Korea Environment Corporation), allowing users to choose between WHO and domestic standards.

- Snow/Rain, Fine Dust, Weather Alert Alarms: Even if the app is not running, it automatically alerts users of unexpected snow or rain news, poor air quality, or newly issued weather alerts. With simple settings, users can receive notifications at desired times.

- Current Weather in Status Bar: Users no longer need to open the app when curious about the current weather. By using this feature, users can quickly check the current weather status with just one drag.

- Satellite Images: Offering satellite images, radar images, and weather alerts covering the Korean Peninsula/Asia/Earth's range, allows users to observe weather changes in South Korea at a glance.

- Widgets: Providing a variety of 12 widget sizes, users can select widgets tailored to their preferences by combining current weather, fine dust, hourly forecast, weekly forecast, and clock. Additionally, users can specify a total of 13 widget skins, transparency, and touch actions.

- Themes: Various backgrounds and weather icons for different tastes are available to choose from according to changes in current weather. Users can also use their own icons through the 'Custom Icons' feature.

- Select Access Permission Details: Location – Used when adding favorite locations or performing current location searches. Storage – Used to load custom icons and back up/restore favorite locations (only applicable to Android 9.0 and below).
