What do you need to register?

Registration only takes a minute. You need to enter and confirm your e-mail, phone number and add a payment method — link your card directly or via Apple Pay / Google Pay. You must be at least 18 to register. That's it, you can rent a scooter and get going!

Which smartphones does the app support?

Whoosh app is supported on iOS devices running version 10.0 and higher, and on Android devices with version 5.0 and higher.

Unfortunately you will not be able to use the app if your smartphone OS does not support Google services, such as Google Maps.

How can I rent an electric scooter?

Register on the app and add your payment method. If a Whoosh scooter is already near you, just scan the QR on the handlebar. Then the app will tell you what to do.

If there is no Whoosh scooter nearby, open the "Find scooter" tab in the app and select a scooter that you want to rent on the map. Then go find it and scan the scooter's QR code. If you can't scan the QR code, just enter its name (4 letters or numbers). It is written under the QR code on the handlebar or on the map in the app.

The service is available 24/7.

How can I book a scooter?

You can book a scooter for 10 minutes. It's free. If the trip has not started after 10 minutes, the booking will end, and the scooter will be available for other Whooshers.

In order to book, select a scooter on the map in the app, press the yellow round Whoosh button, then press Book (Забронировать). A countdown counter will appear in the app, counting the time until the end of the booking.

To start the trip after the booking, stay next to the scooter, press Start and scan the QR code on its handlebar — then the trip will begin and you can open the lock. To cancel a booking, click on Cancel Booking (Отменить бронь) on the scooter booking, swipe left to confirm the cancellation, and the booking will end.

At the beginning of the booking, a deposit of RUB 500 is blocked on the Whoosher's account to secure payment for the trip. If you don't have enough funds, you won't be able to book a scooter. If there is a cancellation or the booking time runs out, the deposit will be released automatically.

Up to 3 Whoosh bikes can be booked on a single account. Each will need a deposit at the beginning and each will require a separate start/completion of the trip.

Can I rent several scooters on a single account?

You can rent 3 scooters at a time with the same account. To do this, you need to select the first one, start the ride, and then the + symbol will appear in the app. Using it, you can add the second and third Whoosh scooter.

Each scooter will require a RUB 500 deposit at the beginning and each will need a separate trip completion, including taking photos. The person who manages the account must be near the scooter when it is parked.

In the case of a group trip, the person whose account was used to rent the scooters is responsible for all the scooters that have been rented, even if the scooter was used by another person.

I can't find the scooter — it's not available at the place shown on the map

A Whoosh scooter is parked at the parking point ("P" sign on the map), most likely, at the one closest to it. Unfortunately, the coordinates may vary slightly, but the scooter is always parked more or less in a place with a "P" sign.

The scooter may beep. Click on the scooter on the map, then you will see a Beep button on scooter screen — just click on it. The scooter will flash the headlight and beep for a while to make it easier to find it.
