How to Set Up a Shared Widgetable Widget

Once you're both friends on Widgetable, you will need to pick out your widget and set it up. In the app, tap Explore at the bottom of the screen. Pick out a widget like the rectangular distance one, for example. Select the friend you want to use it with and tap Save.

You can see your saved widgets by tapping the Mine button on the right side of the app. As a reminder, your friend must complete the same process if they also want the widget on their iPhone.

Add the Custom Widget to Your Lock Screen

With the widget set up, you can go to your Lock Screen, hold down on the screen, and tap Customize. Tap Add Widgets and see if the rectangular Widgetable widget appears in the menu.

If not, you may need to scroll down to Widgetable and select your widget. Choose your preferred size and tap it to pick the actual widget from your saved Widgetable widgets list. Then, just press Done!

You can also go to Wallpaper in your iPhone's Settings, and tap Customize under the preview of your Lock Screen. Tap where you want to add the widget and select your Widgetable widget.

Now, you'll be able to see it on your Lock Screen! Your friend will need to complete this step as well to see it. After you both add it to your Lock Screen, it will sync and update automatically.

This app is super fun to use with friends, especially the part where you can raise pets together. It's a great way to spend time and strengthen your bonds with your friends or loved ones. However, there is a drawback that can be quite irritating - the app often has connection problems, especially when it comes to the pet feature. Sometimes it just won't open at all, and other times you can't even watch an ad to take care of your pet, so you're forced to buy items instead. I really hope they can fix this issue because aside from that, it's a pretty good app overall.

The widgets in this app are adorable, but they definitely hog up a ton of space. There are only three choices available for them, and they appear bigger than they need to be. It's kind of ironic that the app is called "widgetable" yet the sizes aren't quite right. It would be great if the developers could make the sizes more compact and add a variety of new sizes. Additionally, improving the layout for homescreen organization would be helpful as it's a bit confusing at the moment. This app has so much promise, and I hope these adjustments can be made. Thanks a bunch!

It seems like there's this game that could be really good, but it's kind of ruined by being overly focused on making money and bombarding you with ads. I mean, a quick 30-second ad now and then is ok, but having to sit through 1-3 minute ads and constantly deal with them just to feed your pets? That's just unreasonable. The concept is fine, but the way it's put into practice is not great. As a working person, who has all the time to sit through ads just to take care of virtual pets or spend nearly $10 to get their food.

I'm enjoying the app, but I think it could be even better with a few extra features. It would be great if there were more choices for recording moods beyond just labeling them as emotions or "complex." I would also love to have the option to customize moods by associating them with different colors, and it would be really cool to see those colors blending together more seamlessly. Despite these suggestions, I find the app to be a fantastic tool for tracking my mood, and I especially appreciate being able to view the statistics for each month.

Honestly, I really enjoy using this app, but there's just one issue with it - the difference between the iPhone and Android versions. I get that coding stuff takes time, but instead of trying to make both versions the same, the iPhone one keeps improving more. For instance, on iPhone, you get way more rewards like the lucky draw and rewards for leveling up pets. Also, there's a bug with inviting people because after the second person, I stopped getting my egg reward.

I really like this app and all the cool stuff it has. It's so fun playing around with the widgets and looking after my virtual pets and plants. There's just one thing that bothers me. You see, I can't stop co-parenting unless the other person agrees. It can be a problem because they could kind of force you to keep co-parenting by not agreeing to end it. It happened to me once, even though they weren't really helping take care of our virtual pet.

I see what you're saying. It sounds like there are some big issues with the app that overshadow its fun factor. For example, it's kind of ridiculous that there aren't enough pet restroom options, and the ones available have limited hours. Plus, if your internet isn't top-notch, you can't even watch an ad to get essential toiletries. And it seems pretty impossible to play the game without spending money. It must be frustrating dealing with all these challenges when you're just trying to enjoy the game. 🤦‍♂️

I think this game is super cute! I love the whole idea of co-parenting with your virtual pet. It's pretty cool, but it would be even more fun if there were some mini games or activities you could do with your pets. Just feeding and chatting can get a bit repetitive after a while. And oh man, that food system drives me crazy! You have to watch an ad every single time you want to get food for your pet, and you can only do it 3 times within a 30-minute window. It's really frustrating.
