Wordfeud - Word & strategy challenge

This game is awesome! I've been playing it for years and I never get tired of it. I really like the challenge it gives my brain, and I think it helps me stay sharp and quick-thinking as I get older. I would totally suggest it to anyone who wants a fun hobby and some friendly competition. It gets top marks from me!

These ads are just driving me crazy. At first, it was bearable when they popped up every few times I played. But then, I got frustrated waiting for a slow player, so I started another game. Now, it feels like there's an ad after every single play. And to make matters worse, most of them can't be skipped, dragging out the time more than actually playing.

So, basically, this app is pretty fun and gets 4 stars from me for that. The only problem is that when I play the game in Dutch, sometimes it doesn't understand certain words or thinks some fake words are real. It's a bit annoying. Plus, what really bugs me is that the app ends the game unexpectedly after a few hours of no play. I think it should be up to me when I want to start or stop playing, not the app deciding for me. It's a pity because of these issues, so I'm giving it 3 stars in my review.

For the past 9 years, I've been totally hooked on Wordfeud! It's become a big part of my life - playing with close friends as well as random strangers that the game matched me with. My sister and I live quite far away from each other, but we make it a point to play together every day. Over the years, I bet we've competed in thousands of games! Wordfeud keeps us sharp and really challenges our minds. It's honestly such a great game, and I can't recommend it enough!

Initially, I found them quite bothersome, but thankfully, they've toned down now. It's a simple and straightforward Scrabble game—just perfect for those who only care about playing the game without any extra bells and whistles. I don't understand why some negative reviews say otherwise; as someone who loves word games, this app suits me perfectly. I haven't gotten around to buying the ad-free version priced at $4.99 yet. The app offers a good mix of real players to compete against, which is neat.

So, I keep getting annoying ads telling me I've won a contest. Twice already! And no matter what, it keeps redirecting me to a website. I had to finally delete the game. Initially, I liked the game and was willing to give it another shot after the first ad. But the second time? Nope, that was the final straw for me. I get it, we have to deal with ads to play free games, but not those kinds of ads, no way.

It sounds like the game you're playing is very focused on American English and has a limited word database. It's frustrating that the game recognized a rare word like "prex" but not common ones like "IQ". It must be annoying to keep getting the same letters repeatedly, making it difficult to complete a game. It seems like the game gives you either too many vowels or too many consonants, without a good balance. Buying the game is probably not something you want to do based on this experience.
