    The app is terrible. The game is fun, but I can hardly play it. After guessing once, I have to sit through two ads or a 45-second ad after just 5 seconds of playing. I end up waiting for ads more than actually playing the game. It takes me 10 minutes to finish a game that should only take 2 minutes. I downloaded it 2 months ago but have only played a few times because of this issue. I understand that free apps have ads, but having an ad after every guess is a really bad and greedy design choice. This is truly the worst app I've ever used.

    The game play was enjoyable, but it was frustrating when ads interrupted me while I was solving a puzzle. It annoyed me that the ads sometimes didn't load properly and left me with a black screen, forcing me to reset and lose progress. This made the game unplayable as I had to keep restarting.

    At first, the game was enjoyable. Lately though, it feels like the difficulty has increased not because the words are harder, but because they are now more cleverly placed. It seems like a strategy to push players into purchasing hints or other assistance. I understand they want to make a profit, but I already bought the entire game. I prefer the New York Times version because it genuinely aims to provide a challenge rather than just being sneaky.

    Some ads won't close even after playing for a while. There's no way to skip or close them. Clicking install doesn't help get rid of the ad either. I have to close and reopen the app to continue playing because of this issue. It's really frustrating as it disrupts my game flow and I haven't experienced this in any other app before.

    The game does what it promised on the package. Avoid buying the premium version. Without the premium, you can watch ads for unlimited retries. However, if you opt for premium, you need to use game tokens purchased with real money. Additionally, the premium version only eliminates visible ads; you will still hear random commercial audio. Even after the developer promised to address the ad issue in an update, the problem persists. If they had fixed it, I would have rated it at least 4 stars. Regrettably, I am now downgrading my rating to 1 star.

    The advertisements in this game are incredibly annoying. They appear all the time and interrupt every action you take with a different ad length. Whether you guess correctly or not, there's an ad waiting for you. Even pulling down the notification bar triggers another ad. The ads themselves are extremely obnoxious. Despite this, the game can still be enjoyable and challenging if you manage to ignore the overwhelming amount of ads.

    Advertisements are really annoying. They pop up after nearly every round, some lasting over 30 seconds. And what's worse is that sometimes when the ad finishes, it takes you straight to the app installation page without any option to go back unless you exit the game. Personally, I wouldn't spend money on this app because of this issue. If the ads were more reasonable, I might consider it, but the current situation feels like taking advantage of players. Besides that, the game itself and its interface are great.

    The developers clearly don't show any concern for the product. They experienced a huge surge in popularity with millions of downloads, but instead of improving the user experience, they filled it with more and more ads. It's so frustrating - every time you try to do something, there's an ad popping up. Want to check your notifications? Ad. Switch to another app? Ad. Finish a level? Ad. And they want $16 CAD for no ads? Absolutely not. I enjoy the game, but I'm deleting it now.

    Having a great time playing this game, decided to pay for ad-free mode and also bought a piggy bank. Had a 693-game winning streak going until I got stuck in an ad for a zombie game with no way out. Spent 10 frustrating minutes trying to get back to my game before giving up and losing all my progress. Not planning on playing or making any purchases again.
