WPSApp: Comprehensive Network Security Evaluation

WPSApp assesses your network's security by utilizing the WPS protocol. This protocol connects to a WiFi network using an 8-digit pin number, typically preset in the router. Many routers across various brands have known or easily calculated pins, making them potentially vulnerable.

Pin Testing: Leverages known pins to test the connection and determine network vulnerability.

Algorithm Integration: Incorporates numerous established algorithms for pin generation and default pins.

Default Key Calculation: Calculates default keys for certain routers.

Password Viewing: Allows you to view WiFi passwords stored on your device (requires Root user status and connection on Android 9/10).

Usage

🎨 Network Scanning

Red Cross: Indicates "secure" networks with WPS deactivated, making the default password unknown.

Question Mark: Denotes networks with WPS enabled but an unknown pin, prompting the app to test common pins.

Green Tick: Signifies vulnerable networks with active WPS and a known pin.

Green Highlight: Occasionally shows routers with WPS deactivated but a recognizable password, signaling a connection opportunity.

Rectify Vulnerabilities: If your network is vulnerable, deactivate WPS and set up a robust, personalized password.

🎨 Permissions and Compatibility

Android 6 (Marshmallow) and Later: Requires location access permissions due to Google's new stipulations.

Samsung Models: Some models implement encryption, displaying lengthy hexadecimal passwords. Seek online information or contact the developer for decryption instructions.

LG Models (Android 7, Nougat): Encounter difficulties with pin connections due to software idiosyncrasies.
