Xe - Currency converter & exchange

I've used this service before without any issues. But today, when I tried to send money to someone I've sent to before, I couldn't save their details and proceed to confirm the payment. I'm not sure why it's happening. I even tried closing and reopening the app, logging out and back in, but nothing worked. I have the latest version of the app too. Now I'll have to find another way to make my transfer, which is really frustrating.

The current exchange rates are great, and overall, the app interface is pretty good - it's been consistently good for a while now. However, recently there seems to be an issue where you can't switch currencies in the list or input a specific value to convert. The initial screen doesn't provide any explanation, but I guess the only way to access those features is by creating an account. To be honest, I'm not really keen on creating an account just to use the basic functions of an app that I only need occasionally every few months.

The new persistent popup screen asking to "Allow Notifications" is super irritating, isn't it? It would be great if they let us turn it off for good. The new interface looks terrible and feels really unpleasant to use. Changing the currency in charts used to be quick, but now I have to tap the back button multiple times just to exit – such a hassle! This bug is driving me crazy! The new charts are completely useless and look horrible. Not a smart move by the developers at all. They might end up losing a lot of users because of these changes.

So, this recent update feels like a step backward for me. I often convert currency, about once a month. Here are the three issues I'm facing: Firstly, I can't seem to find the Market Analysis, which usually offers valuable information. Secondly, the time frame setting for the charts doesn't stay fixed anymore; it keeps resetting to one month. Lastly, when I tap on the widget (using my Galaxy S9+), it now takes me to app options first instead of directly opening the app as it did before. These things need fixing to earn a five-star rating from me!

I've been using this app for ages and I've never had any issues. They update it all the time, and recently it got even better with its new look, layout, and upgrades. Now, it's super easy and quick to search or compare any currency - like zoom!
