Add, edit and delete folders in Yahoo Mail for Android

It is difficult to navigate through the multitude of emails we receive nowadays. Yahoo helps you to organize and separate your emails into folders and easily reach the most important ones for you with just a click away.

Tap the Inbox Icon  and create as many personalized folders and subfolders you need, so you never have to wonder where an important email is.

Add a folder

1. Tap the Inbox icon .

2. Under Folders, at the bottom of the folders list tap Create a new folder .

3. Enter the folder name.

4. Tap OK.

Delete a folder

Folders with messages can't be deleted - To delete folders or subfolders, make sure to delete all messages first.

1. Tap the Inbox icon .

2. Tap and hold the folder you want to delete.

3. Tap Delete.

4. Tap OK.

Rename a folder

1. Tap the Inbox icon .

2. Tap and hold the folder you want to rename.

3. Tap Rename.

4. Enter the new folder name.

5. Tap OK.

Create a subfolder

Tap the menu arrow   next to the parent folder name to see the subfolders.

1. Tap the Inbox icon .

2. Tap and hold the folder you want to create a subfolder in.

3. Tap Create subfolder.

4. Enter the subfolder name.

5. Tap OK.
