Tips

1. Keep an eye up top

Use the words you've already found as inspiration for other potential creations. It's easy to focus entirely on the letters at the bottom of the screen, but take a break and look up regularly.

Often longer words will contain elements of shorter ones you've already found, like "heap" and "cheap." Sometimes reading the words you've found out loud—and slowly sounding out their consonants—can nudge you in the right direction.

Similarly, even if you don't need to find a certain length of word—e.g. there are no two- or three-letter goal words—try making some anyway. They won't work as answers, but they can often remind you of another word that might be included. We often do this with common groups of letters, like "ing" or "er."

2. Rearrange to your heart's content

Rearrange can be extremely helpful. Sometimes a set of words seems completely impenetrable, but after rearranging you might find an entire word is spelled out in the new organization. You can rearrange the same set of words as many times as you like, and we recommend doing so often: even if a new word doesn't appear, just getting an alternate view of the letters might help get the brain juices flowing.

3. Keep trying with strategies

When you're stuck on a tough level, just keep trying words. There is no time limit or penalty for wrong—or even non—words, so just keep swiping across the letters. You might create a string of letters that reminds you of an actual word.

Use a systematic approach if you're down to guessing: pick one letter as the first letter and then work through every possible combination for the length you're trying to solve.

So, let's say you have "a, c, f, e" and you're trying to find a three-letter word. If you started with "a," make "acf," "ace," "afc," "afe," "aec," "aef" in roughly that order. You're essentially crossing options off the list of potential words in an order that helps you remember what you've already tried. After you've tried all those combinations, you know you're safe to move on to the next letter as the starter, so "caf," "cae," and so on.

Enjoyed a fun and challenging game with my wife. We both like it a lot. Wondering where we can spend the coins we earned?

I played the first two levels and then the game asked if I wanted to continue with the beginner levels or jump all the way to level 26. It was really cool because most games make you go through all the easy levels even if you don't want to. I managed to play about 10 levels before encountering any ads, which is pretty rare for mobile games these days. One thing I didn't like was that if you guess wrong too many times, it reveals the first letter of the missing word. But some players might actually find that helpful.

So, at first, there were no ads. I thought it was great and rated it 5 stars. But then, after around 7 levels, the ads started popping up like in other games. It's disappointing when things aren't as they seem. I recommend that others share their experiences too and support honest apps. Maybe switch to playing games on consoles or PC instead. The ads are just too much, some are even disgusting. This game crossed the line with its dishonesty. I've had enough, I'm out.

You wanted a relaxing word game. However, every other game you play has an ad. This is really frustrating and takes away from your experience. You hope the app will improve its algorithm to make it more enjoyable. Otherwise, you will delete the app. You don't want to buy the in-app option for an ad-free experience. You're fine with ads but the constant interruptions in between games bother you. Thank you.

Isn't this game just amazing? I don't understand why people complain about the ads. You can simply play offline if they bother you so much, right? It's not a big deal! I only check out the ads when I really need hints, and it's usually when I'm taking a break from solving puzzles to collect some coins. Other than that, it's a fantastic game! It's really relaxing and lives up to its name. I'm having a great time playing it. Cheers! :)

So there was this ad that said no more ads, can you believe that? And me being a dummy actually fell for it! I thought, why not just give it a go, but boy was I wrong. The ads were just as intrusive and annoying like any other app out there. They kept popping up like crazy, even in the middle of playing a game! And can you believe the nerve to charge so much to remove them? No way I can pay that. So, within a day I'm deleting it, what a waste of time.

I really like playing this game. However, I had to lower my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars because of a certain issue. Whenever ads pop up, they pause my music player. Not just that, they even force the app to close completely, making me have to restart it each time. Despite how enjoyable the game is, having to go through the trouble of reopening the app multiple times has become too annoying for me to continue playing.
