1. Who can use Zip?
In order to be eligible to use Zip you must:
- Live in the US
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid and verifiable mobile number
- Use a US debit card to make a purchase
- Have a valid US mailing address. We do not accept mailing (or billing) addresses that are APO, FPO, AE PO, PO Box or other mail services.
2. What are merchant discounts?
Zip is excited to launch new discounts with some of our merchants!
If a discount is available from a given merchant, you will be notified when starting the checkout process. If your order meets the discount eligibility, it will be automatically applied to your order and you can continue the checkout process as usual. The discount is split evenly across all installments.
For example: If you are eligible for a $25 discount on a $100 order and have spent exactly $100, each installment will be reduced by $6.25. The installments will be as follows:
Installment 1: $18.75
Installment 2: $18.75
Installment 3: $18.75
Installment 4: $18.75
All installments total $75, reflecting the $25 off discount.
Refunds will follow our standard refund policy.
3. How to pay in-store with the app?

Enter your total purchase amount.

Confirm your amount and payment method to generate your virtual card.
- Add to your wallet
Keep Zip in your Apple Wallet or Google Pay for easy access.
- Tap to pay!
Pay with your wallet to complete your purchase.
4. When is my first payment due?
Your first payment is due at the time of your purchase and will be 25% of the total purchase amount.
The next three installment payments are due every 2 weeks, over the following 6 weeks from the date of your purchase. *
You can view your orders and upcoming payments, or make early payments in the Orders tab of the Zip app. Just tap Pay next to the installment you want to pay early.

How to Use Zip:
- Download the app and link your payment card to initiate shopping at numerous online and offline merchants.
- Explore our deal finder, peruse our merchant directory, or directly conduct transactions through the Zip app at Visa-accepting locations.
- Specify the amount you wish to spend (inclusive of taxes and shipping costs). Your purchase will be divided into four payments over six weeks, streamlining the shopping process by enabling payments at a later time. Track expenditures, review transaction history, and manage split payments effortlessly within the app.
- Modify or update your account details, including payment methods, whenever necessary.
- Access answers to common inquiries and contact our support team directly through the app.
Note: For a $200 purchase, four payments of $51 each are due every two weeks starting today, featuring a 34.7% annual percentage rate with a total payment sum of $204. A $4 installment fee commences upon initiation - $1.00 of this fee represents a prepaid finance charge to be included in your initial payment today, while the remaining $3.00 is incorporated into future payments.
A minimum purchase of $35 is mandatory. The estimated installment payment and annual percentage rate do not encompass potential tax or shipping expenses. Zip Pay Anywhere financing, facilitated through WebBank, is subject to credit approval and exclusively available for US transactions. Certain restrictions pertaining to merchants, products, goods, and services may apply. Eligibility criteria must be met for instant decisions.
