Steps to Order food on Zomato

If you are a foodie but have installed the Zomato app for the first time, follow these simple steps to order food online:

Step 1: Tap on the search bar and enter the restaurant name you want to order from or the dish name you want to eat. You will find multiple search results. Select the one which is closest to you or you prefer the most.

Step 2: Once your preferred restaurant page is open, click on the add button as per the quantity you want to order.

Note: You can select multiple foods from the same restaurants following the same process.

Step 3: After you have added all the dishes you want to eat, click on the next button (below)

Note: Review the food items you have added before placing the final order.

Note: Tap on ‘Use a coupon’ section and then click on ‘Apply’ to use a coupon code.

Step 4: Scroll down the screen and you will find the ‘Add personal details’ section.

Tap on it and you will be asked to add your phone number (if you have signed up account using Gmail). After adding phone number, click continues to enter OTP & confirm your contact number.

In the next step, fill in your complete address: House no, landmark, etc. Then, click on ‘Save address & proceed’.

Step 5: Select and add the payment details before placing the order. You can select anything from cards, UPI, Wallets, Netbanking, or Cash on Delivery for the payment.

Step 6: Once done, you can finally click on ‘Place Order’

The Zomato app is available on both Android and iPhone. Additionally, you can use the web version to order food from Zomato. From the above steps, I hope you have got an idea on how to order food online on Zomato.
